{-hayley-}

I sat in the far end of the classroom and stared out the window aimlessly. My life was nothing and it will never be something. I live a very boring life with my mom who is always drunk, but somehow gives a fuck about my grades. All I eat is Chinese food and I don't have any friends. If you count the leader of the yearbook committee then okay, I guess she's a friend.

"Okay, everyone! Pop quiz on the science notes from yesterday," Mr. Freeman announces with a big stack of papers in his hand.

"Ugh," Billy the basketball captain says.

"Mr. Billy! I am more than happy to throw you out of my classroom and send you to the dean if you don't want to take the quiz!" Mr. Freeman shouts.

A couple of students snicker and Billy smirks at the teacher at the front of the class.

"Okay fine, I'll try to behave," Billy replies throwing his hands in the air.

Mr. Freeman continues to hand out the papers and he winks at me when he slides the paper on my desk. What a freakin pervert! Every class he seems to be staring into my eyes or winking at me.

"When your done, you are free to go," Mr. Freeman says.

I obviously, being the good girl I am, I took my time with the quiz and handed mine in last, making sure I didn't make any errors. Mr. Freeman winks at me and says 'good luck' before I leave the classroom.

I walk down the hall full of students and push my way out of the crowd to find my locker. When I arrive at the locker, he is standing by my locker.

"Hey beautiful," he says as he lifts my chin up with his hand and kisses me softly.

"Hi, Darren," I say smiling in a fake way.

Darren has been my boyfriend for the past 6 months and I really don't understand why he likes me. He's one of those tough guy good looking bullies that everyone seems to like and I'm one of those weird childish smart good girl.

We parted and waved goodbye as I silently walked out the front doors of the school. I obviously missed the bus once and groaned because of the long trip ahead of me with a bunch of books on my back.

I opened the door to the sound of my mother's scraggly cracking voice.

"Hayley!" she shouted.

I kept walking down the hallway while my mother stumbled in behind me.

"Hayley, tell me what this is?" she asks. She's obviously drunk.

She held up on of my tests there was a 70% written in big fat red letters.

"A 70! You're better than this!" she roared.

I threw my book bag and sweater on the stairs and slid my lanky figure through the doorway of the room. I locked the door and pulled out my take out menu to the Chinese place down the road.

I ordered the usual and hoped my mother didn't bother me the rest of the day.

{-ivy-}

"$1.25," the bus driver told me.

"Whatever," I said taking one of my red streaks from my hair ams tucking it behind my ear.

I took $1.25 and stuffed it into the fare box. I grabbed my suitcase and dragged myself to the back of the bus. I sat in the back while the moving contraption took off.

The doors opened once more 5 minutes later and a young man a little older than I came on. He went towards the back and sat next to me. Really? Out of all the seats, he sits next to me.

"What os a pretty girl like you sitting on the bus all alone?" he asks me.

"A runaway," I reply fixing my hair.

"Oh, well I can give a little something to you," he says trailing his hand up my thigh.

Even though I was annoyed I went along with his stupid game. I bite my lip and twirl my tongue around my lip piercing.

"Oh yea..," I pause and get really close to him,"Why don't you back the fuck off before I do any permanent damage to your pretty face," I finish pinching his cheek and sitting back down.

The young man rolled his eyes at me before I sat back down, He stayed by my side for no longer than 2 minutes before moving his way to the front of the bus. I chuckled slyly and took out my black Beats. I turned the music up full blast and tapped my black Keds to the beat.

What else should I be

All apologies

What else should I say

Everyone is gay

What else should I write

I don't have the right

I hummed under my breath, as the bud stops at Manchester, New Hampshire. I grab my stuff and step onto the cracked sidewalk below me. I waited for 10 minutes on the side of the road until another bus pulled up.

The doors open and the bus driver says,"To Hartford, Connecticut."

"Yea, wherever this bus goes I'll go," I say bringing the hair out of my face and paying the fee.

Here we go again!!
