Well it's that time of the year again, August. Which means school is starting soon. A new school.
I'm Adrianna.
I'll be a junior this year at — Lakeview High School. My dad moves around a lot for
his work so, I haven't been at one school for longer than two years.
Lakeview, New Jersey is my new home.
This move is gonna be different. I can feel it.
"Everything's gonna be okay this time Addy" my dad says.
He knows I hate moving, I used to love it, but it's hard having to keep starting over, especially when you don't want to.
"I hope so Dad" I reply.

*the next morning*
"Addie, your gonna be late on your first day!" Dad calls
Fuck, it's time.
I finally get out of bed, not wanting this day to happen.
I walk over to my closet and find a cute white crop top, high waisted jeans, and my red low top converses. This will do. Not trying to impress anyone after what my ex did to me.
-flashback-
"I think we should take a little break"
What a fucking liar, I should've known that was bullshit.
-end of flashback-
In the bathroom, I put on light makeup and I part my hair effortlessly into a middle part.
I quickly zoom downstairs to my beautiful white jeep parked in the driveway and get inside.
I look myself in the mirror, "You've done this before, you can do it again Addy" I say to myself as a back out of the driveway.

Another year of this bullshit.
Same people. Same school. Same teachers.
It's gets fucking annoying and it sucks that I have two years left of this shit.
*fast forward to school parking lot*
Me and my brother Grayson pull up to the school, and everyone greets us in the parking lot as usual.
I didn't even try to be popular, it just happened. When Gray and I hit puberty, all the girls started hitting our lines.
It was only a matter of time before I started giving in, and messing around. But that was last year. I'm determined to change but old habits die hard.
"Hey E, you coming to Alex's party tonight?" Cole asked.
Cole and I have been buds since middle school. He convinced Gray and I to try out for football freshman year, and we've been playing ever since.
"Wouldn't miss it" I reply.
Slipping into my old ways again. fuck.
"Hell yeah dude, catch you later"
"Bet"
Grayson was about to say something to me, but my world completely stopped.
She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I have to get to know her. She was gonna change me.
She had beautiful long dark hair, brown eyes, wearing the most basic outfit you could think of, but it suited her well.
"E, dude stop staring" Grayson nudged me.
"Who is that, she has to be new" I ask.
