chapter eight | date night

Ethan P.O.V

Tonight was the night, I'd grown balls to finally ask her out on a date. Our one night together was amazing and I don't regret one bit of it. She was so beautiful and she gave me everything I needed. I just had to ask her to be mine.

I stayed low these past few months because I kept getting shit from my exes at that party who saw me go upstairs with Adrianna. They were all bitches. I hope they don't try to sabotage Adrianna and I's relationship.

I had a lot planned for Adrianna tonight. I'm gonna take her to this amazing restaurant, buy her dinner, and ask her to be my girlfriend.

We don't know a lot about each other, but I didn't want any other guy swooping in and winning her heart.

Adrianna P.O.V

Just as I was finishing up my makeup, I hear the doorbell ring. My heart fluttered at the thought that it was Ethan.

I had decided to wear a short red dress that ended just above my knees. I had on a pair of red pumps to match. Red was a sexy color, and goddammit I was gonna wear it tonight.

I quickly rush downstairs, and open the door, Ethan saw me and his jaw dropped. He had me blushing before he even said hello.

"Damn" he gushes.

I giggle. "Well you don't look too bad yourself" He had on a basic black button up shirt with dark wash skinny jeans, without the holes this time, and some nice dress shoes.

Ethan really went all out tonight. He must really care. He begged his parents to let him drive the all white Range Rover, with all red leather interior. My dream car. On the way to the restaurant, Ethan had his hand on my thigh the whole ride there. It made me feel at ease.

We pulled up to what had to be the fanciest restaurant in Lakeview, New Jersey and we were greeted by a pretty hostess.

"Hello, Welcome to the Undercurrent, do you have a reservation"

"Yes, reservation for Dolan" He replied.

"Right this way"

She leads upstairs to the rooftop sitting area, and it was all closed out, just for us. He really outdid himself. Gorgeous lights streamed everywhere with beautiful view of the rest of Lakeview.

Ethan P.O.V

Just the look on her face lets me know that I did everything right. I took her breath away no doubting that.

Shortly after we sit down, the waitress comes up to take our order.

"You guys ready to order"

I nod and look at Adrianna, signaling for her to order before me.

"Yes, I'll have the Fettuccine Alfredo" she says.

"And I'll have the Filet with a side of fries" I say, and the waitress winks at me. "Oh and can you tell Ralph that the Dolan's request a swish of something divine" She nods and gives me a flirty look. I grin trying to be nice. The waitress walks away.

A swish of something divine was Gray and I's code phrase for a bottle of wine since we aren't old enough to drink. Ralph sneaks it for us.

"What the fuck was that" Adrianna says glancing at me.

Adrianna's P.O.V

I was pissed, the waitress was hotter than the hostess and she was clearly flirting with Ethan, right in front of me at that.

"Is my princess upset" he says. He thinks this is a joke.

"She was clearly flirting with you right in front of me" I roll my eyes.

"Well the only one I care about here is you, she's not sitting in front of me, you are. Your the one that matters" my heart flutters.

I'm blushing at this point. Ethan knows exactly what to say.

"Which is one of the reasons why I brought you here" he pauses. I know we haven't known each other long, and we spent one amazing night together. I just wanted to tell you that I like you a lot. This doesn't happened to me a lot. I've messed around with a lot of girls and after meeting you, I've realized its you. I don't want these other girls if I had the choice to just have you"

My cheeks are on fire at this point. How can a player like him choose me so easily.

"Adrianna, will you be my girlfriend"
