That's what Mika is wearing during this episode, and maybe future episodes.
Mika's POV
It's been a few days since Sakumo-San and Kakashi-San visited. I must admit...it gets really boring around here, but at least I have Mr. Fluffy.
I got Mr. Fluffy from daddy, and he's just a stuffed white dog, but at least it's something to do.
What do little babies even do anyway? I got some stacking blocks, kid books, rubber kunai, and stuffed animals. At least give me a friend. I mean seri- KNOCK KNOCK -Hn?
I got up and slowly started to toddle over to the front door. I peeked around the corner and stared at the door, so what am I supposed to do? It's not like I can reach the door handle by my lonesome.
I peered around the room, and spotted the smooth wooden chairs mommy had at the table. I shrugged and crawled over to the chairs. I stood up and tried dragging the chair over...only to realize the mass of the chair was far heavier mine. I looked toward the door, and when my eyes passed by the coat rack I spotted a little stool near the door, and suddenly I felt the urge to smack myself in the face.
"Hn," I mummbled, "I think this body is starting to affect my brain." Now, I know I'm just stupid and like making excuses up, but, hey, where is the fun in not making excuses?
I crawled back over to the stool and pushed it in front of the door. I slowly dragged myself on top, and balanced, so I wouldn't fall. I twisted the door handle and pushed the door open.
When the door swung open I came face to face with...Sakumo and Kakashi. "Hn? What are you guys doing here?" I looked up at Sakumo, and down at Kakashi. I realized that since I was still standing on the stool, I was at least a head taller than Kakashi.
"Your mother and father sent us here to watch over you." Sakumo looked down at me, and raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"What are you doing on a stool?" Kakashi sneered, and glared at me like I started World War II.
"Why are you not on a stool?" I smiled a cheeky smile. I got off the stool and pushed it back over to where it originally was. I turned back around and saw that both Sakumo and Kakashi were staring at me.
We stared at each other for bit, but Sakumo decided to point out the obvious (something I obviously forgot), "are you going to invite us in...or?" He smiled in a questioning manner.
I stared for a bit more, still registering what he said. "Un, I kinda spaced out, Sorry! Come on in!" I cheered, and grinned a toothy grin.
"Hn," Kakashi stared at me as if to say, 'are you stupid?' He walked by and went straight into the living room, and plopped down on the couch, while Sakumo went straight into the kitchen.
I followed Kakashi into the living room, and got back to playing with Mr. Fluffy.
------------------
After a while of playing godzilla with Mr. Fluffy I got bored. I crawled over to the couch Kakashi was sitting on, and sat next to him. He grunted. "I just wanted to see what you were staring at!" I chirped.
He looked at me in a questioning manner, and then looked back at the lovely green wall.
I poked him in the shoulder, and when I got no reaction continued to do it. After a while of no reactions I swung my legs across his lap. I felt him tense, but he said nothing, and continued to stare at the wall.
I pouted, "Kakashi, I'm bored!" I layed my head on his shoudler, which I think he had enough of my shenanigans because before I know it my face was greeting the floor.
"I would appreciate it if you went somewhere else, and started moping there." He glared at me, and if looks could kill, I'd be 100 feet in the ground.
"Owww! Kakashi that's no way to treat a lady!" I peered up at him under my eyelashes, but it had no affect on him. I 'humphed' and started to stack my colorful blocks.
-----------
Sakumo checked in on us every 15 minutes, but when he realized nothing was going on he didn't check on us anymore. It's amazing how much faith he puts into a 3 and 4 year old, and if it was me I'd be sitting in the room FOREVER.
"Why can you speak so well, for a 3-year-old?" Kakashi seemed a little aggravated.
"What, can't understand why a kid younger than you can almost talk as well as you?" I smiled at him, knowing full well that, that is not why he was asking.
"No," He huffed, "I just haven't met another person my age who could hold a conversation, or a civilian at that." You could still hear the iritation in his voice.
I looked over at Kakashi with a serious expression, "don't underestimate kids younger than you, ok?" I went back to smiling, "Oh, and I didn't know you could get easily irritated by something you didn't know." I said in a happy voice.
Kakashi looked at me wearily, but seemed to not be able to come to a conclusion on what I ment. He slowly nodded, and it seemed his shoulders looked less tense.
After about 10 more minutes we heard Sakumo- aww isn't he nice not covering the sound of his footsteps, so we wouldn't be alarmed. - walking towards us. Kakashi and I turned toward Sakumo, and got up to follow him. "What are we eating?" I inquired.
"Well, I'm not that much of a cook, so I made onigari, and prepared fish." He smiled sheepishly at Kakashi and I.
Kakashi and I made it clear we didn't mind, and walked over to the table quickly, and started eating. Sakumo seemed to be content to just watch us eat, and take a bit of his own food every now and then.
I slyly looked over at Kakashi, so what if I get caught? Don't say you never wanted to see Kakashi's face. I accidently dropped my chopsticks, and fell over in surprise (and I didn't even get to see his face). I looked up to see Kakashi's shoulders shaking, and Sakumo outright chuckling.
"Hey!" I pouted looking at them in fake anger. "Help a girl out, won't ya?" I said in, also, fake indignation.
"Sorry, sorry, sorry it was just too funny." Sakumo chuckled out, but I'm just glad he could still find things funny..especially with what will happen in a year.
He got up and helped me up, but we all froze when we heard the small click the door made when being opened. We all turned towards the door, wary, but Sakumo smiled, showing the the 'intruders' were probably my parents.
My mom and dad walked in and noticed all of us waiting. "Oh, having a fun time?" Mom questioned in a happy tone.
"Yep! Sakumo makes the best onigari!" I pipped up, and cheered.
My dad swooped in, and twirled me around. "I'm glad because my little girl deserves the BEST!" At the last word he tossed me into the air, and caught me again.
"Hahaha!" I laughed. I felt the muscles under my dad's arms ripple, and I realised that they could only be formed if he was a ninja (or a farmer, or something like that.), which was confirmed when I saw the leaf headband and ninja gear.
-------------
We all bid eachother farewell at the door, and when the door seperating us closed, we smiled because of the fun we had.
Momma and daddy carried me into the kitchen and started cleaning the dishes. I sat on the counter drawing patterns into the wood with my finger, but my mom stopped me in the middle of drawing the leaf symbol when she asked what I did.
"Hehehe! Nothing! We just had a play date!" I cheered, and jumped of the counter. I sauntered into my room to take a nap.
That's the end of the chapter I hope you all enjoyed! C;
