I looked into the face of danger
Then turned around and laughed at it with my best friend.
A humorous attempt to combat our own imaginations
Because the only thing more terrifying than being trapped in the dark,
Was everything your eyes couldn't actually see,
But feel pressed against them like pinpricks;
A muffle of monsters and demons.
So we illuminated the dark with our brightest smiles
And broke the Shadows like sunglasses,
Letting the light envelop us as we sat,
Laughing maniacally.
