Kings and queens [k.v]

This world is full of kings and queens who break your heart and steal your dreams. I certainly didnt want a king like that. I thought about it while I drove to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania leaving my legacy behind me. Work by Iggy Azalea came on my phone shuffle. I thought about my situation more.

I was so not going to be the helpless new girl who got her heart broken by the most known player in the school. It has happened before and it will not happen here. I was so embarrased when he made me the most popular girl and soon enough everyone told me they'd seen him with another girl. I shuddered at the memory. I stared at my pale pink converse and the yarn ankle bracelet around my ankle. It was a long way back to California. I wanted to leave,but at the same time I didnt.  I looked at my sister Danielle.

"Dani,do you think we will live better here?" I asked her picking at my french tips. She smiled and put her long chestnut hair into a ponytail.

"Of course Kendall. Besides,I heard from Emily that the guys here are cute!" She smirked and applied a fine coat of cherry flavored lipgloss. I rolled my eyes. Dani was boy crazy because she could get every single one of them with one smirk. I was also in a new studio. Abby lee dance company. I couldnt wait to get started! We pulled up to a large stone house with a long driveway and a 3 car garage. Danielle was the first one to hop out of the car. I followed and saw a little black mailbox next to a large black gate that surrounded our new house. It already had the name 'vertes' written on it in fine cursive white. I rose my eyebrows. I looked to the side and saw a light headed boy playing football with another boy and four girls sitting to the side. I looked away not trying to create tension on the first day here. I got my boxes out of the trunk and stared at the huge house in front of me.

"New house,new life,new you." I heard Dani whispering to herself as she got her boxes. I looked to the side again to see one of the boys staring at Dani.

"New house,new life,new you." I did the same as Dani and walked into my new life.

I made a list as I finished unpacking. Danielle had gone over and met the kids while I stayed.
