Louis opened up his phone. He went to his messages between Harry and him. He's not certain that the lad will answer considering he's gotten his phone taken away, but he'd rather try just Incase he were to open it and read it.5'oclock, hospital, bring an extra shirt and towel, be there.
Louis pressed send and pocketed his phone. He was in the detention room, only him and some other teacher who is reading a bible. Louis didn't want to question why he thought bringing a bible to a school full of open gay students was okay, but people have their reasons doing what they want to do.
Louis' phone vibrated. He quickly grabbed on his phone and read the message Harry had sent him.
HarryStyles: alright, I'll see you there beautiful ;)
Louis rolled his eyes before pocketing his phone again. He has another hour in the room, it's a waiting game now.
Harry however was outside with his group organizing the Black Lives Matter t-shirts and pins to give out tomorrow. They have a huge flag ready to be waved, and pink paint ready to be smeared underneath their eyes. They got multiple looks by teachers and students when seeing posters being made and the mega phone being tested out.
Harry wanted to grab Louis and to sneak him out of the detention room to help, but he knew how mad Louis would get if he were to get in to trouble again. That's sort of the point of this group anyways. You can't be afraid to get in trouble, you have to remind yourself that it's for a good cause.
Harry was given this throne for obvious reasons...it was for his voice. His voice that rang through the crowds and his voice that stood up for what he believed in. He was given the lead, he was carrying on the tradition.
How did Harry overcome this judgement he would get? He didn't. He's not bothered by it as he used to be. Often times he would find himself crying in his bedroom because it would upset him that people thought he was being childish, and thoughtless. He wasn't. He's being brave and he's being strong because these topics should be spoken about. These topics shouldn't be sugar coated. He refuses to be a white male staying silent.
He refuses to not use his voice to speak up because after all, white silence is white consent and he does not want to be apart of that white silence.
"Jennifer, i think you should be incharg or shirts tomorrow," Harry says. Jennifer looked up from her poster and held her thumbs up.
"Will be more than happy to pass out shirts."
Harry gave her a thankful smile before looking over at Trevor who was making sure all the pins were in order and an even amount.
"Nice work Trevor," Harry says. "Keep It up."
Trevor thanked Harry. The taller lad walked towards the posters and smiled at the messages on them.Black Lives Matter
Stop police brutality
All lives can't matter without black lives
Stop the hate
Say the names, rise up!
Harry was proud of everyone here. He knew they are making a difference and he couldn't wait to see the outcome once the school year is over. When noticing that it was almost five, he left Trevor in charge and went to the hospital where Louis had asked him to meet.
