PICTURE ON THE SIDE OF OLIVIA!
==============
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! SMASH!!
I rolled out of bed (literally) smacking me face on the floor. Oh yeah I'm looking forward to the massive headache I'll probably get between 1st and 3rd period. It really takes longer, for me, to get out of bed then it should but I don't even care so I laid there on the floor for about 10 minutes longer.
I heard footsteps outside my door a few minutes later. Oh crap, my mom. I jumped of the ground and rushed to the shower. After I got out I could've sworn that I took thirty seconds. That is the fastest I've ever done anything! I walked over to my closet with my towel wrapped around me body and swung open the wooden doors. Hmmm....what to wear on this "fine day". I decided to go simple and picked out a pair of white skinny jeans with a blood red undershirt and jeans jacket. I threw my damp hair up into a messy bun with a thin red headband and headed out the door with a muffin. I gotta eat somethin' at least!
I usually ride my penny board or walk to school with my bestie Liz. Today though we decided to meet at the bus stop and walk from there.
I got to the bus stop and sat on the bench whipping out my phone to text Liz. I felt a presence next to me and looked to the side. A guy with amber eyes and and jet black hair was staring at me intently. What the hell, that's creepy. "Hello, and why are you staring at me like a creeper?"
"Oh no reason. It's just that my day has been horrible so far and you are the prettiest thing I've seen today," he replied while running his hands through his hair. "Well could you not look at me because I don't really like to be in the limelight."
"We'll that must be hard for you, princess, cause it seems like your always in the limelight," he smirked. "Oh we're are my manners? My name is Lucas. Lucas Thompson," he added. I nodded and looked around. I could see Liz walking up. Hallelujah! I hopped off the bench and raced over to her leaving Lucas gawking at me for leaving him there. Ah who cares cause I know I don't. "Where in freakin' world have you been?!," I nearly yelled at Liz as we walked along the sidewalk to school. "Hey calm down hulk. My little brothers breakfast sort of exploded.....on me. So I had to go take another shower and whatnot." I sighed and nodded. There's no point in arguing over that.
When we got to school we went our separate ways. I walked over to my locker and stuffed some books in my bag for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd period. I slammed my locker shut and nearly screamed as my finger got caught in the middle. I muttered a long line of colorful words as I walked off to my first period holding my finger in pain plus my heavy books and stared at the ground. I felt my self slam into something hard. Maybe a wall? I bent down to gather my books that had crashed to the floor. The person helped me but very hastily as if he or she was annoyed. Once I had gathered everything I looked up at the tall figure. Nope that can't be a girl, especially in my school. We have shorties. He glared down at my a scowl on his face. "You should watch were your going you little nuisance," he sneered as he pushed past me and walked off. I was stunned. Totally stunned. All I did was run into him and he has the nerve to call me a nuisance?! He doesn't even know me! I walked off to class trying to shake away the previous encounter with Mr. annoying boy.
I walked out of third period with a smile on my face. Do ya wanna know why? I GOT AN A!!!!!! Yeah, yeah I know for you people who aren't so fond of school work that doesn't really make you feel "happy" but it sure makes me happy! Yes I can be a little nerdy but hey if you want to get into a good school to get a good job them you better work. Anyways I'm heading to lunch now so I can focus on my food and not my grades.
When I got to the lunchroom it was swarming with students. This shouldn't be a surprise to me because I do go to a pretty big school. It's just that my school in England was a smaller so it still comes as a surprise sometimes.
