Chapter 4: Getting Together

So Lamar asked Kaleya out again but she had admitted that she wasn't ready because she wasn't over her ex-boyfriend, Jyriek, yet. So they didn't get together then. Lamar just knew he was ready, but was she? Did Lamar have the time to wait on Kaleya? Or would her time run out like Cinderella's did when the clock striked midnight?

But there was one program they both got in. Chorus. But the thing was they didn't get into chorus to get together. They had got into chorus before they even met. But after they did meet at the meet up, they recognized each other and talk during beginnings, breaks, and endings of chorus practice. By the time Kaleya decided to be a tenor instead of a alto. They had already kissed. Kaleya just wanted to be a tenor to get closer to Lamar. So sense they both stayed on Stoner St. They cought rides home from each other if one of their parents forgot or couldn't come. By then they had became friends with benefits, but not in a sexual way. They singed beside each other at chorus practice, they cought home rides together, they kissed plenty of times, and they chilled at Kaleya's house together. They were basically, secretly in a relationship. They were even close to having sex one time but Kaleya just couldn't without an official relationship. So Lamar knew in order to officially be in a relationship he had to do 1 thing. Ask Kaleya out again.

Lamar's P.O.V.

Aye look I'm gone be clear with yall okay, I'm gone keep it 100 with you. I wanted her in every way. Just had to give her a little more time to get over Jyriek. I mean like she even had on her dresser "Jyriek, I will always love you♥". But they only went out for two months. I knew in order to steal her heart from him, I had to step my game up.

I told her "Look this is how its gonna happen, whenever you're ready for a relationship let me know. And if I'm not taken or over you, we can get together." I had said feelin like a boss. "Okay," she replied with an agreement tone, "but we can still kiss and be friends with benefits and kiss, right?" "If that's what you want it's whatever's clever." I said tryna be smooth.

Kaleya's P. O. V.

OMG! Me and Lamar finally got together. See what happend was the second time Lamar asked me out I said I still wasn't ready. So he told me to tell him when I was ready. So one day as we were finishing up chorus practice , me and Lamar sat down and talked. And I knew it was time to tell him I was ready. I've been thinking about it for sometime. "So Lamar , I need to tell you something." I said. "What is it?" Lamar asked anxiously. "Well I have been thinking and I think I'm ready." Lamar smiled and said "So what up lil mama , you wanna go out." I laughed reluctantly and said "Yesss. I would love to." And that's how it started.

Okay so we know Kaleya and Lamar got together. But how will it work out? Maybe Lamar thought the third time was a charm. He got the girl who he thought at first didn't deserve the nickname, Pretty Lady. amd like I said it all changed.
