Too Many Chances

Chapter 2: The Meeting

So of course yall remember how I told you that almost every boy in the 11th grade wanted Kaleya. And two of those boys was Lamar's brother, Anthony, and his best friend, Kenneth. Anthony went as "Niko" and Kenneth went as " Ken". But at first, Lamar didn't think Kaleya was all that pretty when he saw her walking home from the bus stop. But all that was surely about to change.

One day Kaleya and her best friend Taneesha threw a little party at Kaleya's house. But it wasn't really a party it was like meet up, not a meeting, but a meet up. Lamar only went because his brother Anthony invited him, nothing less, nothing more. But that night Lamar saw something in Kaleya. But although he was getting his reputation built up, he was shy.

Everybody was in her living room eating & talking. But Lamar didn't talk to anyone except for Anthony and Kenneth since they introduced him to everybody he didn't know, which was basically Kaleya and Taneesha. Everybody else, he knew already. "Aye Kidd," Anthony called out, " Yo how come you so fucking quiet bruh." Lamar did not expect everybody body to look at him but they did, "Nun, just to be honest I don't feel to comfortable". And for the first time that night Kaleya spoke to Lamar. " Hey", she had said trying to get him to feel as comfortable as possible sense it was technically her house for the night. Shit , what the fuck should I say, Lamar was thinking but quick to respond he spoke, " Wassuh." She smiled and continued to talk to Taneesha. Aye maybe I should say more sense it is her house, but she didn't invite me Niko did. I'm going to keep my mouth shut. Lamar still didn't think Kaleya was all that and apparently she didn't either. But he had to admit to his self, she did have a banging body. They turned on some music and of course everybody (except for Lamar) wanted to dance with Kaleya. So then they played a song called the Panoramic by Sage The Gemini and then they really wanted her. Then this boy that was in the same grade (the 11th) as everybody else (except for Lamar because he's the younger brother between him and Niko) name TyShon got up and danced with her 1st but everybody thought he couldn't do it right.

Lamar's P.O.V.

Aye like, to be honest I was just laughing at him. But then everybody started to encourage me like "go head Kidd unless you scared of the booty or somethin". So I was like, "Come on now be clear, I ain't never scared, now start that song ova". They started over the song and I already knew I could dance because like, shit like that was my style. So I approached the booty just as smooth as I could be. "Uh oh, Kidd bout to kill it," Niko said, "go head boy". I laughed because he was always a very funny guy to me. And I'm not going get all into detail about how we did it but we did kill it. "Aye Kidd, you ain't tell nobody you could dance like that", Ken said which made me laugh. "You never asked". I said with a come back. Me and Kaleya gave each other complements on our dancing. Everybody else wanted to dance with her but she said she was too tired. A few minutes later we started leaving. We all left out from the back door giving out hugs and handshakes (or daps). And right before me and Niko left, she admitted I was the first boy she really danced with to that song. Then I sayed "me to" as I smiled and walked away. But to be honest that was my first time doing the dance at all. I couldn't admit that though, atleast not right then.
