Jace steps down the ladder as his shift ends for the day. He turns around to General Clancy standing behind him, and fumbles to attention. "Morning, Colonel Wilson" Jace looks the general in the eye and says: "General Clancy! we werent expecting you here until tomorrow!" "yes, well i came to check on the logistics pre-evaluation" The General says, as he looks down as if he is hiding something. "well go catch up on your sleep Colonel, dismissed."
Jace walks back to his barracks as he swings his MCAR-30 machine rifle over his shoulder, but just before entering into the building, he hears someone calling his name. "Colonel! Colonel!" He turns to face the person. "What is it Sergeant Astrict?" The Sergeant stops a yard away and salutes him. "We picked something up on the radar, you need to have a look at this sir" She says, panting. "Why couldnt you call me, on my personal radio?' The Sergeant immediatly snaps back with a response. "Because whatever it is ............ it's jamming our comms"
