the Automa line

Vulcan Corporation is the leading company in the creation of artifical bio-engineered humans (also known as ABeHs)

ABeH
-ABeHs are nicknamed Artifoids, androids or synths, mostly by the middle and lower class.
-They are made mostly of entirely organic tissues. However, most have electronic brains or organs, which are easier to progam and make rather than growing real ones, as well being easier to fix and being more durable. Most military models also have reinforced titanium bones, which are more durable than the average human bone.
-All Artifoids are built sterile and while they can procreate, they cannot have children.
-They are all built as adults, and do not age. There are no child ABeHs. The only child ones are custom-made and are not seen as part of the production lines.
-ABeHs can be identified by their usually unnaturally coloured, usually luminous, eyes. Sunglasses can be used to hide this but this is often ineffective and the eyes can be seen through the sunglasses. The only exception to this rule is the Automa 7 line.
-All models, including combat models unless programmed to kill a specific human target, cannot kill humans. However, programming can be altered, broken and even discarded.
-All combat models have a check-up every 30 days, to check if they are operating properly and have not begun to become disobedient or break their programming.
-Breaking programming does not literally mean that programming is broken. Instead, it refers to when an Automatic unit begins to think outside of their designated programming. It usually starts slowly and then happens all at once.

Automa models

These were the very first synths. They are no longer in production and are entirely gone because of their two year lifespan.

Automa 2-5
These are also not in production anymore and are entirely gone due to their short lifespans, the longest one spanning seven years.

Automa 6
-Oldest line still in production
-Used for Labour only, given they are much cheaper than any other models and do not look very human-like
-They are stronger and faster than the normal human, but not by much
-10 year lifespan
-They are the most common Artifoids

Automa 7
-Cancelled line after multiple rebellions from the models
-Few still exist, but are in hiding and often hunted down

Automa 8
-Often used in the military because they are stronger and faster than any other Automa model
-Human-like, but not attractive like the newer models
-Thrice as strong, fast and resilient in comparison to the normal human
-10 year lifespan

Automa 9
-Often used as pleasure models as they are cheaper than the Automa X
-They are the most disobedient line still in production, but lack the intelligence of their successors
-1.5 times stronger, faster, smarter and more resilient than the average human
-Twice as good-looking as the average human
-20 year lifespan

Automa X
-Often used as secretaries, nurses, bankers, police and detectives
-They are the most intelligent line
-All Automa X are under 3 years old, as they are a brand new line
-Twice as strong, fast and resilient as the average human
-2.5 times more intelligent
-30 year lifespan
-Very rare, given how new they are

ABeH names
This doesn't refer to their nicknames, as stated above. This is about their model numbers.
The name of a synth is made of
1) a letter from A-Z, based on what their purpose is e.g. M (medic), S (secretary or salesman/woman), L (labour), P (pleasure or police), etc...
2) Their line number e.g. (Automa) 6 or (Automa) X
3) The last three digits, two numbers and a letter, are unique to them and used as identification

-This system makes it extremely easy to identify deceased or decomissioned androids, especially since most have their number printed somewhere on their bodies (unusually somewhere inconspicuous, eg. the back of eyeball)
