Hiccup pov:
It was Easter Friday and we were all getting ready for the egg exchange (I don't know what they do for Easter or if that even celebrate it but whatever it just another reason to party!). At the egg exchange everyone gets a random egg from someone (like secret Santa) then you have to look after it until it hatches the we release them. I had gotten tuffnut, so I got him a chicken egg (it doesn't have to be a dragon egg), seems reasonable, right? I Saunded down to breakfast to start hanging decorations.
Astrid pov:
I had gotten hiccup for the egg exchange, but I couldn't find a suitable egg. Then I thought I'll look for a night fury egg, I must of gone nuts because I didn't find one. While I was flying back I saw something that caught my attention, there on the ground was a small rock with some writing on it "dear Astrid -----------" then there was a hole field of them but in the middle was a big rock it had a picture of a axe on it and it said this "dear Astrid. When I first layer eyes on you when we where 3 I fell in love with you, your blue eyes sparkled in the sun, your blonde hair waved peacefully in the wind and your happy smile smiled at me, I fell in love with it all, but most of all I fell in love with you, not how strong you are or how pretty you are, I love you Astrid Hofferson with all I have, so will you be my girlfriend?" I read out loud. Then I heard a voice behind me "so will you be my girlfriend?" I turned around to see hiccup in his best clothes. What would I say?
Hiccups pov:
I waited until she said something " uh..........no...hiccup I'm sorry" then she ran off. I slumped down next to a tree and cried , all I could think was what would happen if I went back, would she be angry, will we still be friends, can I go back. All these possibilities made me think they don't need me, I'll run away, write a note, and leave. And that's exactly what I did.
Time skip 3 days
Astrid pov:
Three days had been since hiccup left and it had been the worst feeling knowing that It was my falt, if a hadn't said no then I wouldn't be here. I felt so guilty so I flu away to look for hiccup but I had to write a note "dear Heather I have gone to find hiccup we need him. I will return when I find him" then I left.
