Unwanted

Chapter 3

     ... "What?... What is that? ... Is that what I think it is?... No... this is crazy." I see something weird, something I never seen before, "Is that?... a mermaid?" This might sound crazy but I think I see a mermaid... and she is waving at me. I looked away, took a deep breath and looked back... and she was gone! I freaked out! I started speed walking back home.

      "Hi Jackie," said my mom.

      "Mom? What you doing here?" I said.

      "What? You're not happy that your mom is here early from work?" said my mom.

      "Well yha... but I'm surprised cuz' you usually come home early," I said.

      "Oh! Well I'm here now, let's go do something," said my mom.

      "Umm... I would want to go out for an ice cream and then rent a movie," I said.

      "Mmm... ok, sounds good," said my mom.

      As we got to the car, I was pretty excited that me and my mom are gonna spend time together, it's been a long time that we have a mom and daughter time.

      We went to Baskin Robbins, I asked for a rocky road cuz' I like this flavor, it's not that bad, my mom also got ice cream too, she got a strawberry flavored ice cream. After getting ice cream, we went to CVS pharmacy, to get the movie. There's a machine that is in front of the pharmacy, it's called RedBox, the movies there are very cheap. There were a tons of movies, but we got Despicable Me 2, I love the minions, they're adorable.

      As got the movie, went to the car,

      "Mom?... Thanks," I said gratefully.

       "No problem honey," said my mom.

      Later, we got home, I played the movie and my mom started making some popcorn. We sat there for around a hour, and the movie was good. Also, my mom likes it, she thinks it's adorable and funny.

       "Ok, time to go to sleep," said my mom.

       "Ok mom," I said.

       "Night sweetie," said my mom with a good night kiss.

        I went upstairs to get ready for bed, when was trying to brushing my teeth, I heard something weird...

        "Jackie... Jackie....." said a strange voice.

        "Hey Jackie..."

        "Oh my God! Mom you scared me!" I said terrified.

        "Oops sorry sweetie, I was going to say that you left your phone at the living room and I was going to give it to you."

        "Ok thanks." But I could have sworn that I heard something strange but I was to tired to think about it. When I went to bed, I can hear the waves of the ocean... and it makes me feel relaxed... it also helps me fall asleep.............
