I woke up to the sound of metals hitting each other. I looked towards the bars and saw a police officer unlocking it.

"You are now free, Lawrence" he says using my last name "Thanks to Mr. Mills"

I furrow my eyebrows

I look around and there I see a tall man standing beside Max.

"M-max?"

"It was my dad"

"Thank you, Mr. Mills"

"Call me Paul"

"Alright, Paul"

"Jennifer, why did you do that?" Max asks

"My mum was dying. She needed to get a surgery but we didn't have enough money." I say tearing up

"You shouldn't have done that. You could've just asked me for help" Max says pulling me to his chest

I walked back inside and lifted the mattress up and picked up the jewelries I stole that I never gave. I handed it to Paul.

"I was desperate. I'm sorry" I say walking out of the station with Max by my side.

"Just promise not to do it again" Paul says from behind

I don't turn around.

"I promise" I say lifting my left hand up, palm straight and fingers together.

I am currently sitting down on the couch in between Max and Harvey watching spongebob...childhood memories are the best!!

"Sponge Bob squarepants, sponge Bob squarepants. Spongebobbbbb squarepaaaaants"

Doo doo doo doo do do do do

I laugh at our immaturity

I felt my back burn from Max's gaze

I turn to him

"I love you" he says softly

"I love you too"

He leans in and kissed me with love and passionate.

Harvey cleared his throat

"Both of you. Get a room." He groans

I laugh at his cute attitude

"You're cute" I laugh as I tap the tip of his nose with my finger

"Only I'm cute to you" Max folds his arms and pouts like a five year old

"But you're cuter" I kiss his cheek giggling as he sits up and his eyes lit up

He picks me up in bridal style and runs outside
