CHAPTER III

ALEX POV

  I woke up the next morning with a cold sweat, I was dreaming about a car hitting a woman accidentally. The tires are screeching, then I woke, I thought it was real, it’s just my alarm clock ringing.

*tire screeching slowly fades*
*alarm clock started to ring*

“I’m late for my class, it’s our quiz today in English subject .Gosh! I don’t have a review yet.” 

   When I was driving and I am here in the intersection of the high way. There is this lady walking in the pedestrian crossing and It was familiar for me then I stop when I felt a pain in my head. All memories are flashing back in my mind. My body was shaking in nervous, the memory that flashed back in my mind is the actual accident where my mother was hit by a car.

    I received a text from my best friend Andy saying that our professor is not yet there in our room. So I replied that I will rush to drive to get there before our professor does.


ANDY’S POV

“Where’s that crazy girl!?, the special quiz will start soon.” Says my mind while looking at the people who come and go inside the classroom. Then suddenly a screeching tire shocked everyone, some of the students think an accident happened outside. That time I’m a little bit worried because Alex told me she will rush her driving so she can attend the class. So I rushed to the corridor to see what is happening.

    I am shocked to see that the person who got out of Alex’s car is no other than *ALEXANDER!!? I’m confused. That’s Alex’s car, why does alexander driving the car of my best friend?
     
I got more confused when Alexander asked some of the teachers forgiveness to what he did. To the people who was being interrupted, his gestures and the way he moves its seems like he and Alex are one. I’m starting to have doubts with those two.

   Our professor came and he immediately gave us the special quiz.

    Because the quiz is hard I didn’t even have the time to look at the classroom door if Alex already came in or if she is sitting near the door also taking her quiz. But when we all done with the quiz I notice that there is no Alexander in the room. Only the presence of Alex is here.

“What time did you arrive here?” I ask Alex.

“I think 20 minutes ago.” She answered me.

“You just finished the quiz in 20minutes?” I curiously ask her.

“Maybe yes, Is there something wrong?” she ask ruggedly.

“Uhmm. Bes I’ll go first I need to fix something byeeeee!” I just reasoning to her.

ALEX POV
     
I went to comfort room to change my clothes. Then after when someone was texting me to inform that there will have a meeting about a Party Event and all the councils are need to attend at 4pm. in the office. Upon reading the text my bracelet was fell-off in my hand and it goes down in the others door which the male comfort room. So I was forced to go there and look for my bracelet.
I am my way in the office when someone was calling my name from afar.

“Alex! Alex! Bes! “ oh it was Andy.

“Why are you here? I thought you are fixing something?”  I asked her.

“ I just fix it maybe tomorrow, hihihi. “ She answer while she was laughing, it’s kind of weird.

“Where are you going now? “  She’s sound wondering in me .

“At the office, all the councils have a meeting in the Party Event next month . You can go with me if you want? “I invited her.

“ As you insist? Let’s go? “she answer.

We were now walking to go in the office. But it’s kind of weird because I notice something different to Andy’s movements. Is there has a problem; I was confused maybe I will ask her later after the meeting.

OFFICE OF THE SCHOOL

“ As you informed earlier about the said event that may held here in our campus next month, can someone give their ideas or opinion for this event to be perfect ? “ Says Mr. Santos which is our event coordinator.

“Why don’t we have a talent competition in the day. “ suggested by the fourth year representative.

“Nice idea. Any suggestion? “  Mr. Santos the one who is talking in front of us.

“We can have also a selling of different kind of things came from each section then the best market and income can get a reward not a typical money contest but we can call this an easy money contest. The more they sell the more chance of winning right? Suggested by the secretary of first year representative.

“Brilliant idea! Any suggestion ? Alex can you suggest because you are thinking deeply. Are you with us Ms. Governor? “I was shock to Mr. Santos when he called my name.

“ Uhm, Sir maybe we can have a Mascara Party at the evening event. It was challenging for them to look their partners and I think it’s enjoyable also.” Opps. It’s hard for me to think those thing in just a minute.

“Nice catch Ms. Alex. “  he answers me with his smile.

   The meeting was settling down and I was with Andy until now.

“let’s go home individually? “ I asked her.

“Yah, sure bye take care.” And Andy kiss me in my cheeks and she go inside her car.

“Bye keep safe. See you tomorrow. “And I ride to my home.


    ANDY’S POV   

    When I said to Alex earlier that I need to go after our quiz. I was actually hid at her and because of my confusion about her I was planning to follow her. When I saw her walking in the comfort room I was thinking who is texting her at the middle of this time. But when someone was bump into me, Alex are gone into my eyes. Tskkkk! That girl ruined my plan. Then I go inside the comfort room expecting that he was there but she was not here. So I exit, but I was shocked when five meters away from the comfort room she was there. Is this girl has a super power or she was came from the males comfort room.

*Uhmmm*

““Alex! Alex! Bes! “ I was calling her,
   Then when I knew she was going to the office to attend their meeting I insist to go with her. Just to observe her behavior. She was so confusing!

   I notice that while in the meeting Alex was out of her mind. But she answer well when Mr. Santos called her name and asked for her suggestion.

Meanwhile, the meeting was done. Then Alex offered me to go home because it's already six in the evening. So we are now saying goodbye to each other. I'm the one who left her first because i want to follow her. Earlier it just pop in my mind that Alex was my best friend in almost a month but I didn't hear anything from her. Such as where she live, where is her parents and who the real Alex in real life. Now, I am her in front of their house watching her secretly.

The house has a sad and scary ambiance even the looks is so elegant. Then Alex is in her car and honked her horn. Someone was came out inside the house, she gave her keys in the old man with a white hair. Then there is a nanny picking up her bag. I look at in the second floor of the window then all I see was a dim light with a shadow lady, i thought it's Alex. Is she alone where is her family? It’s so confusing.

Then someone came outside and it's her nanny handling a full black bag in her left hand. Upon walking I come close to her and ask something.
"Excuse me Mam. I am Andy, Alex best friend?" And she is curiously stared at me.

"I am here just secure that Alex was in her home. But i am first time here in her house." i added.

"Ahhhh. Oh yes. Did you notice also in this house right?" Jive by the nanny.

"Alex is alone in this house?" I Asked her.

"Not really, She is with us but her family was both died 2years ago. She was actually alone in life but not totally alone because I am here for them." She was talking with her deep concern.

"What is the caused of their death?" i asked her again.

  "His father was attacked in his heart disease when Alex was in a little maybe she was five years old that time. But when his mother was died in the car accident but until now the suspect was unknown until now. But you know, that time Ma'am Alex was the one who brought Ma'am Sandra her Mom in the hospital but they drive that time separately when they arrived outside the house. I am so worried to that time for her especially when he came home at she come with me, crying in pain. Then the only words speak out in her mouth was ; "My mom was died, my best friend got suicide. I don't have at all. " And he cried out loud to my shoulder." Nanny is the one who speaking.

" Thank you po. " That's the only thing I said to her and turn back then I come inside my car. The fur in my body was standeth. I was driving now to wemt back home.
