Kayano P.O.V.
The class decided they would stay for the day and leave as the sun go down. So I and Nagisa will have to deal with more teasing for the day... Well, I think that was the plan Karma and Nakamura developed from the beginning... What a horrifying duo... Though I do think Manami is a better pair with Karma, with the chloroform and poison Manami can make, Karma will be unstoppable. Just thinking about it sends chills down my spine.
"Kayano..." Manami tapped me on the shoulders, pulling me out of my daydreaming. "What is it, Okuda?" I said, patiently waiting for her response. "Is it true that... You and Nagisa are... Dating...?" Her question made my cheeks turn red, though not as red as an apple.
"..."
I didn't answer her immediately but turned to face Nagisa," no, we're not dating... But..." "But what Kayano?" Manami asked. "It's nothing," I avoided her question and joined Nagisa and the rest of the class.
We're close... I do hope he feels the same as I do...
*Time Skip. Noon of Sunday*
"I'm getting hungry, let's go for lunch!" Karma groaned again for the tenth time. "How many times do you have to say that! We ate breakfast at 0930, it's only been 3 hours, no one's hungry!" Nagisa shouted at him, clearly annoyed. "Actually, I'm starting to get a little hungry..." I poked Nagisa from behind. He turned to me, a little shock on his face. But that shock turned into slightly irritated, "alright... Where are we going to eat...?" Along with a sigh.
"Hmm... How about the new cafe that opened up near here?" Nakamura joined in the chat and suggested, "there are even sweets there..." She whispered in my ear. "REALLY!?!" I screamed, my mouth watered when she mentioned sweets. "As sweet as your husband over there..." My enthusiastic expression immediately turned to... Well... Blushing hard... "Nakamura!" I soft-punched Nakamura in the arm. "Kayano, are you alright? Did Nakamura did anything to you?" Nagisa noticed us talking and asked me. "No! It's nothing!" I panicked and spouted. "O-Ok... Only if you say so..." Nagisa seems hesitant and skeptical. "It's nothing ok!" I reassured him. His face finally returned to normal after his previously worried face. And we four headed out since the others aren't all that hungry.
We arrived there, the cafe's called 'Kumo Cafe'. Fancy and not out of the blue, it fits in the surroundings. There are seats inside and outside the cafe, which made it pretty welcoming. "Let's sit outside! I want to enjoy the breezing wind!" I cheered and pulled Nagisa to one of the many tables there.
"What should we have... So many options..." I carefully inspect the menu, obviously looking for something sweet. "Kayano let's have the main course first before having something sweet for dessert," Nagisa read me like a book, "it only took me a day to know you like sweets too much," he chuckled. "See Kayano, Nagisa here is observant enough to notice the first day he got here like he was watching you all day long..." Karma said next to Nagisa, "well... All year long more like..." Nakamura added. "Karma, Nakamura shut up!" Nagisa and I hit Karma and Nakamura in the arm respectively. "You're gonna kill me someday..." Nagisa facepalmed. "There will be much more to come, don't you worry," Karma grinned evilly. "Anyway... Decide what you want to order, I ain't waiting..." I cheekily said. "Oh right! I forgot!" Nakamura swiftly picked up the menu.
"Hello and welcome to Kumo Cafe, what you all like to have today?" The waiter pulled out a notepad with a pen. "Hmm... I would like to have salad and water please," Nagisa said, pointing at the menu. "Really? I never knew you ate salad," Karma seems surprised. "Somethings you just don't know until someone reveals it," Nagisa lectured us... "Wow, wise words from Nagisa, how rare!" Karma replied to him. "Shut it! What do you want for lunch?"
"Alright, thanks for coming to Kumo!" The waiter said, but just before he left, he gave a small piece of paper to Nagisa and winked at him. At that moment, Nagisa's face was confused. After the waiter went away, Nagisa flipped open the paper. And immediately went pale and froze, Karma peeked over his shoulder and looked at the piece of paper. Instead of freezing like Nagisa, he held his belly and laughed to his death. Nakamura and I were confused, "Karma what is the paper about?" Nakamura asked him. "J-Just lo-ok f-for y-yourself, Haha!!" Karma was still laughing his ass off. Nakamura grabbed the paper from the frozen Nagisa, I and Nakamura read the note, "girl you look great! Call me sometime alright! *Insert random phone number here*" Nakamura and I held in the laugh, but Nakamura isn't able to hold it and burst out laughing. But I somehow manage to hold in it. Just somehow... Karma calmed down a little bit and smack Nagisa on the back, "good luck saying you're a boy to him! Haha!" Nagisa snapped back to reality and hit Karma on the arm, "I hate you so much..." You're not the only one Nagisa...
After more teasing, Nakamura and Karma managed to calm down. And the food finally arrived, and the one who delivered the food was... THAT waiter. At the sight of him, I and the deadly duo started giggling and chuckling. The waiter looked at the half-dead Nagisa, he seemed confused, "did something happened?" "..." Nagisa went silent, hands over his face. "You don't seem fine... Are you sure you're alright?" The waiter seemed worried. After a couple of seconds, Nagisa finally spoke up, "the note you gave me..." "Y-Yes...?" The waiter hesitantly spoke. "It's a boy... Not a girl..." Nagisa held back his embarrassment. Karma and Nakamura laughed like fanatics. "Wait you are... I am so sorry!!" The waiter apologized and bowed. "lift your head, it's not the first time someone mistook me for a girl..." Nagisa facepalms once again. "Please, allow me to provide you with a free dessert, what dessert do you want?" The waiter offered. Nagisa glanced at me, then said, "do you have vanilla pudding here?" upon here this, my heart surged with surprise and excitement, and I tried to hold it back on my face, but it did show a huge smile, please have pudding... please!!! "We do have vanilla pudding, it will be out in just a second," the waiter bowed again and went back to the kitchen. Shortly after, the kitchen filled with laughter. Poor guy, he really wants a girlfriend really bad... I wonder if Nagisa wants me really bad as well...
I am really, really glad Nagisa's by my side...
