"Wake up ash"my mother says as she gently pokes me
"It's the first day of school" she says
I quickly sit up and get out of bed, most people would hate school but I've never been so I'm really excited!

I run downstairs and yell "bye mom I love you!" Before bolting out the door
As I wait at the bus stop I see 2 boys walk up to me, one of them had brown hair and the other guy had blonde hair, I realized I was staring so I quickly looked away. They stood next to me waiting for the bus as I was too "yooo chad what's up" one of them said, I look towards their direction to see a third boy with dark brown hair walking up with a big smile on his face "yoo whats up char" "hey joey" he says. Chad looks at me and smiles, I quickly look away being embarrassed that he caught me staring "hi I'm chad" I look up at him, giving him a light smile and looking back down at my Nike shoes, "hi" I shyly say still looking down, he was about to say something but the bus arrived. I quickly get on the bus and sit all the way in the back. How stupid am I, if I wanna make friends I need to talk

At school

It's my first day here, I'm slightly nervous not gonna lie. I had to leave my only friend behind at the hospital and now I have to make new ones which could be interesting, I guess.
I made my way to my locker along the huge hallway going on forever until I finally found it, I put in my combination that was on the pink slip, and of course it won't open "UGHHH" I say hitting my locker with frustration, out of the corner of my eye, I was being approached by a tall, brunette boy who stood next to me resting his arm on the lockers making his muscles visible. He looked at me with his hazel eyes while smiling lightly until his raspy voice spoke "You having trouble there?"
"Uh, y-yeah" I say
*laughs* "here let me help you" he says while grabbing the paper out of my hand and putting in the combo to my locker
After he opens my locker I put my books in it and say "thank you"
"No problem, I'm joey btw" he smiles
"I'm ashley" I say as I put my hand out for him to shake it.
J: "Let me see your schedule"
Ash: "ok"
He takes my schedule and scans his eyes around the paper
J: "We have 1st, 3rd, 4th, lunch, and last period together" he says happily
Ash: "at least I'll actually know someone haha" I laugh
J: "it's always nice to be with a friend, than be alone right?" He laughs
Ash: "always"

He said "friend" I made a friend!........omg I made a friend! It's not often where I hear that word. I like it

"Yooo joey" a boy says loudly snapping me out of my thoughts
J: "hey pal"
?: "hey bud, who's this" he says smiling
J: "This is Ashley, she's new"
?: "oh, hi I'm Charles" he smiles
Ash: "hi" I say shyly
Char: "is that your schedule?"
Ash: "oh uh, yeah wanna see it?"
Char: "is that even a question?" He says sarcastically
Ash: *laughs* "here"
Char: "ooo, we have 1st, 4th, lunch, and 6th together"
Ash: "we all have 1st and 4th together yay"
J: "yayyyy"
J: "oh Ashley"
Ash: "what's up?"
J: "I can walk you to all your classes so you know where to go if you want"
Ash: "yes please, that would be great"
J: "ok"
*bell rings*
Char: "looks like we gotta get going to class"
J: "yup, let's go"

Tbh it feels amazing to talk to people that are my age, I just can't get over the fact that I already made friends and joey is really cute, but I don't wanna tell anyone at all, like.. ever

Skip to lunch cuz I'm lazy

It's been a long day but I've liked it so far.
There are 9 periods and lunch is 5th, I'm actually glad that it's 5th cuz I always seem to be starving around this time haha.

I scan the cafeteria looking for seats that would just be for me cuz I'm a loner, but I can't find any, its so packed in here and I don't wanna sit next to someone random cuz they'd think I'm weird. No seats
I sigh and start to walk away until I hear someone call my name

"Ashley" he says loudly
I turn around to find joey jogging towards me.
An immediate smile plasters on my face
Ash "hi"
J: "hey, wanna sit with me and my friends"
Ash: "sure" I smile
I follow him to his table and see Charles, that boy chad I met this morning, and some other boys I don't know. I sit in between Charles and Joey as I introduce myself to all of them
"Hi I'm ashley" i say as I smile lightly
"I'm blake"
"I'm Brandon"
"I'm chad, I believe we kinda met this morning" he laughs
"I'm hunter" he smiles brightly

All of these boys are so gorgeous, especially Joey and hunter
"Hi" I say

We all ate our lunch and got along pretty well. They all looked at my schedule and it turns out I have classes with all of them, pretty cool right?

After school I walked to my locker and put my books in my backpack, I swing my strap around my shoulder and look down the hall to see joey standing in a circle with Blake, Hunter, Charles, and two other guys who looked alike...twins
I walk towards them, not to be weird, but first of all the doors to leave is literally right next to them and I'm gonna say thanks to Joey for everything.
I get to Joey and keep walking hoping he would call my name
"Bro That was so funny" someone laughs in the group
"Haha yeah w- hey Ashley!" I hear Joey call my name. Yes!
"Hey joey" I smile
BG: "what's up Ashley"
Ash: "not much, just going home"
I see the two mystery boys looking at me. Definitely twins
Ash: *looks at watch* "welp, I gotta go, see ya!"
HR: "byeeee"
BG: "cya tomorrow"
J: "bye"
Char: "byee"
I start to walk then stop and turn around
"Oh and joey, thanks for everything today, if probably still be lost in these hallways if you didn't help me" I laugh
J: "anytime, I'll see you tomorrow" he waves
"Bye" I say

Best. Day. Ever!
