Chapter 13

As Amelia and Jack stand there, looking at the others shocked faces, Jack runs upstairs. The others are still shocked. They sit there, not saying a word. Amelia runs upstairs, after Jack. "Jack!" She said running after him. "Wait! Let me explain!" Jack goes to his room and stands in the doorway, now looking at Amelia. Amelia's in the hallway in front of him, looking at him too.  "Wait." She said calmly "You didn't tell me you had an abusive boyfriend?!" Said Jack yelling at her. "Jack. Look. Let me explain this to you." She said "No! Amelia...Why didn't you tell me? Do you not trust me?" He asked "No! Of course not! I trust you completely! It's just... Ok. Let me explain first." Said Amelia "NO! I don't want your explanation!" He yelled. "Please." She said. He sighed. "I'm sorry. It's just..." He paused.  "I think we should take some time apart." He said looking in her eyes "wh-what?" She said "I don't understand!" "Amelia. I'm sorry bu-" Amelia stopped him before he could finish what he was saying. She started to walk down the hallway, but before she went down the stairs, she stopped. She went back to Jack and kissed him. "No." She said. "I'm not giving up on this relationship." Jack looked at her. "Ok." He said and kissed her back.
