Short story
Storm clouds fumed in the distance as the starry cats gathered round. The sun started to dissolve into the ground sending pink rays through the woodland, eventually leaving the chattering cats to be left in the dark with the only light being the moon.
"gather round clans!" a tall brown and tom sprang onto a rock and yowled, his voice rang through the crowd of the transparent cats as they turned to look at him. "it is time to decide----"
He got cut off by a she cat among the mass of felines "who said you were going to decide!?" her question provoked outrage among the rest, against him.
"Im not going to decide, we are! he argued"
"sure!" she retorted with disbelief in the toms words. Another cat stood up with the she cat and spoke against him, causing more to yowl along. The brown tom jumped off the rock and hung his head in irritation but didnt continue. He walked, dragging his tail and joined the crowd, leavin the rock bare with no cat to stand on it and direct. Then out of the roaring cats, a cream coloured she cat bounded onto the rock to take place. Her eyes presented no anger, her stance displayed no giving up, and her attitude of her speaking exposed great leadership. She raised her tail in silence.
"now this is not a way to decide things, WE will resolve this once and for all, TOGETHER, not just ones judgement..." her voice was calm and steady but strong with control. "the destiny in the clans is in our paws, and one wrong move, there will be no more!')"

"now what are we going to do?" she asked the starry group below her
"well, Sandstar...we should probably send a warning out to the clans, all of them, for them to maybe work together against it" A grey she cat opinionized.
"maybe, Rainleaf, anyone else have suggestions?!" The brown tom stood up with his eyes cleared from the emotion of what happened before "yes, Logpounce?" she asked
"well we could find out more about the problem because we dont know much, and we probably dont want to cause things before we know for sure about it..." he finished licking his paw and washing it over his ear.
"is there anymore ideas, or shall we go on for a vote on it?" Sandstar began. The surrounding cats said nothing, and the vote began. "to those who agree with Rainleaf move to the left..." she waved Rainleaf to stand near a stump in the left of the hallow "and to those who agree with Logpounce go to the right.." she gestured him toward a stone on the left parts of the clearing. "go!"
It was a blur, all cats merged into one with mixed pelts running in all directions not knowing where it ends or begins. Sandstar watched from the rock not knowing which side to go on, act fast and not know much of the problem, causing unwanted drama among the clans below, or wait, find out more and maybe be too late...
At last all cats were on their sides, counted, even amongst both. It was up to Sandstar...
