CHAPTER 7
it was a friday, and we were all going to the cinema
by we - i mean me, finn, romeo, caleb, sadie, gaten, noah and oh yeah, iris
i don't really remember who's idea it was to go, but at first it was only me, the boys and sads. then romeo insisted he come (much to everyone's dismay) and after that finn decided he must bring iris along too
mine and romeos relationship was moving fast, i almost couldn't keep up
it had started with a peck at the drive in, then it progressed from there. next thing i knew his hand was on my thigh in the cafeteria at the dinner table
we haven't gone much further than heavy kissing yet. but i know romeo is expecting we will
it's my fault to be honest, when he put his hand up my thigh i just nudged him and laughed despite the fact i felt so uncomfortable
i kind of feel like i can't say no to him. i was never intimidated by him before but now i am, romeo was less full on when i first met him.
but i brush it off every time i think about it, i know it's just me overthinking everything like i always do
romeo isn't doing anything wrong
i shake my head to myself and heave a sigh, we've been in the car for about 15 minutes now
"are we almost there yet?" iris whined, to which i roll my eyes. i knew she was nice and all, but for some reason i couldn't bring myself to like her much
"anddd.." gaten breathes and parks the car "we're here!"
every clambers out the car messily, leaving me last to get out as i fumble around pulling my jacket on
"hurry up" romeo groans, making me forget about my jacket and scurry out the car door
"sorry guys" i murmur sheepishly
sadie grabs my hand softly and gives it a reassuring squeeze "don't be mills, you were just getting your jacket"
i let out a breath and smile at her with appreciation, it's often little things like this that make me so thankful to have her
