Everyone is born with a soulmate. When you meet them a band appears around your ring finger. The closer you are to them, the more prominent it is. And when the bands touch they light up. Some people wait forever to meet their soulmates, it could take until forever to meet them but you always do.
I first met my soulmate in kindergarten. It was the first day of school I was waiting in line for the bell to ring when I looked at across the line and I saw her. She was standing there with her pink Dora backpack holding her moms hand. The moment I saw her I felt my body shake a feeling I've never felt before. When I had looked down on my hand I saw a band like tattoo around my ring finger. I turned to my mom and said
"Mom what is this"
"Oh sweaty it looks like you found your soul mate, that's very exciting " she replied in a proud voice.
"Really?! What does that mean?" I ask.
"It means that you found the person you love" mom said.
I decided to walk over to her. I smiled and held out my hand.
"Hi my names Eve"
