"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
The man opened his mouth in shock by the rudeness. It caught me by surprise, too. V hyung rarely cusses because he's usually child-like and PG. "Learn to respect your elders! And you should watch your language!"
"And you should've watched your child. You left her in that damn station. What kind of parent are you?" he spat. The father gasped.
"How DARE you! You don't know how long I've been looking for her. I've cried and fought!"
"Liar!" Taehyung got in his face. "Chae Yeong told me that she was with you. You didn't lose her. You ran away from her and left her." Now it was the group that was gasping.
The father's eyes widened. He was sputtering nonsensical words out of his mouth while his head was shaking wildly. "How dare you- you ACCUSE me of doing... that!" He glanced down at his child who was holding his hand. Chae Yeong stared back with her glassy eyes, her bottom lip stuck out. "I would never do that to you baby."
"But why did you run away?" She mumbled.
Taehyung crossed his arms as the old man tried to come up with an excuse. "I-i didn't! Baby I got pushed away. Don't listen to these strangers." She pouted even more. "And your mother was in trouble. I went to get her and once I turned around you were gone. I was looking for you."
"Fucking idiot," I heard Taehyung whisper. If looks could kill, Chae Yeong's father would've been dead by now. Yet he just glared back with the same intensity.
"Uh.. c'mon let's go look for that car now," Mina attempted to change the subject. She ushered the father and daughter to the front of the group, which was a good decision because I swear that V would've snapped if he got any closer to him. We began walking around the streets.
"Hyung," I whispered to V. He hummed. "Are you okay?" He didn't reply. Instead he just grumbled and put his hands in his pockets. It was awkward so I stayed silent.
We were led near a gas station. There was a bus stop in the front where a couple benches were. A lady was laying down on one of them, her arm clutched over her stomach. "Honey!" Chae's dad called. Her head jerked as she sat up. I'm guessing that's the mom.
"Hyeok?" So that's his name, huh.
"I found Chae Yeong!"
"Chae?!" The woman immediately got off the bench and hurried over to her husband. Well, more like limped. She spotted her daughter and crouched down, pulling her in for a bear hug. She stroked her hair while wailing "my baby" as a few tears slipped down her round cheeks. It reminded me of when I saved Jimin in the train.
Taehyung coughed quite loudly, slipping in a 'your husband's an asshole' in the middle of his fit. The wife raised her head to look at us. "Who are you guys?"
"Oh mommy, this ahjussi saved me in the station." Chae Yeong left her mom's arms to go and hug Jimin hyung.
The black haired male pouted. "I'm not that old," he mumbled.
The woman walked over to him and grabbed both of his hands into hers. She bowed down to the ground like a servant would to a royal king. "Thank you mister. Thank you, thank you, I owe you my life." Jimin blushed. He raised up his hand.
"Oh miss please stand up! I would've been a fool to leave your daughter in there like that."
"Not many people would've done that. You don't understand how grateful I am for you. Thank you all for watching over my daughter." The group smiled and nodded. I felt Taehyung step forward and I saw that he was about to say something. However Suga hyung put his hand in front of his chest, shaking his head at him. The brunette didn't say anything but stepped back to his original position.
