Hunk is Lances best friend! Kind of.
Lance is a social butterfly while Hunk, contrary to belief, isn't.
Hunk knows Lance will leave him in the dust when somebody better comes along. That's not Lances fault though, it's just how people like him work.
Hunk was right.
This girl came along, Nyma, her name was.
Nyma stole Lances heart, and now he's forgotten about Hunk.
Hunk has been through a lot. Kids were cruel towards him, given the fact that he was a little overweight and had two mothers.
He had never had many friends until Lance came along and now even he was leaving Hunk in the dust.
The teasing that had gradually faded was back now that 'popular Lance' decided he wasn't worth his time.
Of course, Hunk didn't think like that. E knows why Lance left him and forgives him for it.
Hunk knows he isn't worth the time and effort that friendship takes.
That doesn't mean he likes it.
So Hunk steps over to his window and waves a silent goodbye to the world.
Then, as Lance would say, he ate dust.
