Have I told you how big of a babbler this guy was? If not, well imma tell you.
Tyler talks a lot.
Not your ordinary girl talk. You know when they have no plot, no body, or purpose for their story. Its like he speaks an essay worth of words.
I always catch the thesis statement quickly.
When we arrived, the house and the front already looked like it was over crowded. He smugly chuckled. "We're late to our own party."
I turned to him and rolled my eyes. "We would have been here quicker, if you didn't take the long way for your stories."
He turned off the car, and slid out. I follow right behind him.
Stepping into the front lawn, you could already smell the alcohol being used inside. The music was blasting like some kind of dubstep dj. And girls were trying to sing along to it as good as possible.
I wouldn't want to go to a party every weekend if this is how all parties are like. It weird, and I don't know .. awkward for my being.
I looked down at my shoes and started to over think this whole thing.
I don't belong here, what in the world am I doing? I should just turn back now, call a taxi, and ask for them to take me home. Cause I know for a fact Amber won't be sober enough to drive me home.
That's another thought.
How am I getting home? The only people I trust at this party are my two best friends, but I know their going to try their best to get super wasted. Well I know Amber is.
I shuddered to myself feeling this wasn't going to be safe at all. Than looked up at Tyler who was giving me a weird look.
"You alright snorts?" He questioned.
I felt my cheeks flame up as I felt another weird turn in my stomach. Goodness girl get a grip on yourself.
"I-I .. I don't wanna-"
"Your not backing out of this now! We're here! Come on you'll have fun!"
"But-." He groaned and opened the front door. Than tugged my wrist into the hells hole.
Right when we walked in, I could feel the atmosphere of the whole place change. A breeze swiftly went down my back making me shiver.
How is it even possible for me to feel cold air in the over populated human bowl? Like really I haven't been here more than 5 minutes, and I could already feel the heat beating off bodies.
"Look, Imma help you find Amber. But after I got to go meet up with the guys. Alright?"
"Your going to leave me?" I barely mumbled. I was beyond scared. You know that mini heat attack you get when you almost fall out of your chair because you were tipping it? Well yeah, I was having one of those. It just mine is more expanded.
She rubbed my shoulder and smiled down on me. "You'll be fine." Than his arm slid down to my wrist, grabbing a hold on it again. "Lets go."
We started swerving throught the ocean of the student body, trying our best to find Amber. It was way harder than I expected.
If we had a circle graph to show short girls with long brunette hair and is probably wasted out of her mind at the moment, it would probably be 34% Doesn't sound like much, but it was.
Throughout this search, I've managed to trip over people, cups, furniture, and myself a couple of times.
I knew it started irritating Tyler because it started slowing down our search. Finally he just stopped walking. But since I was looking down at the ground, I didn't notice and bumped right into his back.
