Off camera /The Dolan Twins

1. Meet and greet

I'm totally ready for the meet and greet. It's 1 pm, time to go.  The show will be different for me then for the other fans today. I won the  backstage tour together with my friend Lina! Which means I will get a tour back stage and can meet them in private! I can't wait! I wonder how they will be like in real life. They could be the same but I think they are more quiet in real life. I hear the doorbell  ring. Lina is here! I jump up and take my coat off the coat rack. I open the door and give Lina a hug. 'Let's go!' 

As we drive to the parking place I can see all the fans waiting outside. Luckily Lina and I don't have to wait outside. We can get in at the backstage door. They show us different rooms and I'm very surprised by the fact how big it is. Then we walk past the clothing rooms. On the third room I see 2 names. Ethan and Grayson. I have never felt so excited in my life before. The door isn't closed but we're not allowed to get in. It's weird because we won the price and they said we could meet them backstage. As we walk past the door I can see a glimpse of Grayson. But he is not acting normal. He is crying and breathing very heavily. I can see him sitting on the ground and Ethan is comforting him. My heart stops for a second. What is going on? I immediately feel super bad for him. I look at Lina. She didn't see anything. 

A few minutes later were waiting to meet the twins in the backstage room. I'm super nervous. Mostly because of what I saw. Then the door opens and Ethan and Grayson come in. I stutter and give them a hug. "Hi, nice to meet you! What's your name?" Grayson asks. I tell him my name and he says it's beautiful. I'm so confused I see a totally different Grayson. I'm asking them how they are and they tell me they are good. We talk a little about ourselves and I feel myself getting more comfortable and so do they. We make a snapchat and then it's time for the twins to perform. We can see the show from the backstage room. The twins are waiting on the stairs before they come up. Grayson looks scared again and Ethan is whispering something at him. He breaths in and out and then they have to get to the stage. I see the other Grayson again. The happy not scared Grayson. I decide to ask about it after the show.

Grayson and Ethan walk up the stairs. There is cake all over their faces because of the game they played. After they showered they come back to us. It's our last 5 minutes we have with them. I have to ask him now because I have to make sure he is okay. "Grayson, can I ask you something in private?" I ask silently. Grayson  looks confused but says yes. We walk to the corner. "I'm only asking this because I really care about you and I know I will keep thinking about this if I don't ask this. When we were walking past your room the door was a little opened. I saw you crying and panicking. Are you okay?" I look at him and try to look as friendly as possible to make him feel more comfortable. "O my gosh, I didn't know you could see that... I'm so sorry. Please don't tell anyone." Grayson says. "I have to admit. I haven't been feeling good mentally lately. I have panic attacks almost everyday. I don't know what to do anymore." I can see tears coming in his eyes. My reflex is just giving him a hug. Normally they give the fans a hug but the rolls are different now. I rub his back and try to make him feel better. "I will not tell anyone Grayson, but you don't have to be sorry or ashamed. A lot of people have anxiety. You're not alone." He looks me in the eyes and he look different now. He doesn't look to me like I am a fan. Our moment gets broken if we hear their manager say that we have to go. Grayson whispers me quick: "I want to keep in touch with you, you are different then the other fans. I don't know why." and he gives me his number. I'm overwhelmed by everything and say I will text him soon. We walk back and me and Lina give Ethan and Grayson one last hug. "I love you guys, bye.." we wave back and then we are standing outside again. I'm speechless. This was the most weird but best day of my life.

We're sitting in the car. I tell Lina everything. She is also amazed and we're riding back home in silent. Tomorrow I will text Grayson. I take my phone out of my bag and see I have a text...
