"If you came here to just sit and chat then I suggest you turn around and leave," a voice came from the doorway just moments after everyone finished arriving.
I didn't even notice the variety of students here but... woah. Look at all these attractive boys!
Everyone looked toward the doorway, the class utterly confused as a whole.
Who said that, anyway?
We looked around more before sticking to the last option - the ground. And bingo.
There on the ground huddled up in a bright yellow sleeping bag, was a raggedy man, sipping out of one of those fruit sauce pouches.
Understandable, those things are pretty bomb.
"Anyway, good morning, all of you," the man continued somewhat apathetically. He sounded dead to me and his eyes were bloodshot. "I'm your homeroom teacher - Aizawa Shouta. Please refer to me as Aizawa-Sensei from this day forward."
We looked at each other incredulously, thinking aloud, "that's our teacher?!"
He hobbled up to the podium, giving us a half-lidded once-over, before closing his eyes and turning to the chalkboard.
Immediately he began to speak about some other physical exam specifically for his class. I wasn't particularly scared, noting just how he explained everything, up until:
"...the person last place will be ousted from the hero course."
OKAY WAIT WHAT THE FUCK
Everyone's heads seemed to shoot up simultaneously, save for one or two people, and Apateon leaned his head over to me with a small pout. "I hope he's joking... he's... not allowed to do that, right?"
"I am one-hundred percent allowed to do so," he answered, looking at the three of us.
We all visibly paled, and I nudged Auefrit for the second time with a fake laugh.
"Great!" I replied, "then let's all do our very best!"
"That's the attitude, it seems," Auefrit mumbled.
We all got up and headed out to change into out Physical Ed uniforms. I chatted with Auefrit as I pulled down my shirt, stretching a bit and then leaning down to tie my shoe.
I could hear screaming and shouting from the boy's side - most likely Bakugou, and the girls and I collectively facepalmed.
Auefrit complained about failing, seeing as her quirk wasn't as good in really anything but support, but Jirou-chan was there to reassure her, something I was grateful for.
I got to know a few of the girls in the changing room, as awkward as it may sound. With permission, I was allowed to call some of them by their first names, too.
Jirou-chan being the first, and Ochako-chan being the second to greet me politely. Auefrit and I were grateful.
I told them it was okay for them to call me ___-san or anything and they reluctantly agreed.
As I walked out, I decided to stand by Tsuyu-chan in the line we formed.
Aizawa explained briefly what we were going to be doing, and he called up Bakugou to throw a ball for some reason.
I could see his malicious grin the second try he had, when he found out he could use his quirk.
"DIE!" he bellowed, activating his quirk as he threw the ball into the sky once more.
We all watched amazed as it soared through the sky, and turned toward Aizawa-sensei as he held out his distance instrument.
"705.1 Meters," he informed.
