It was safe to say when Bakugou emerged from the field, he didn't dare utter a word.
Anyone could see the shame in his eyes; losing to someone as 'weak' to him as Deku is more painful than any physical punishment given for his actions.
No one uttered a word to him, either.
It was my turn next. I looked at Todoroki with a hesitant gulp, rubbing my arms. We nodded at each other and walked out of the room.
Auefrit gave me a thumbs up and mouthed a good luck.
"So, how do we plan on doing this?" I asked, walking next to him with hands on my hips.
He didn't directly wish to reply, I'm certain of that.
"Stay right here - this will all be over soon," he spoke, pulling at his collar.
I tried to argue, but he continued on inside, ignoring me completely.
I sighed, tugging at my hair as I wondered what went on inside.
And then the walls froze.
It was a good thing my boots had little paw-print pads that warmed up from the ice - allowing me to easily step over. I smiled, looking down at the bear prints on the floor.
It took about another five minutes for him to capture the bomb - and ultimately it was an easy win.
If that guy's one intention is to get on my nerves... he's sure some pro.
He walked back from inside after heating up the building for the villains to be set free and looked a bit shocked when he laid his eyes on me again.
I was glaring into his soul; utter hatred spewing out of my very being.
His expression was confused and (kind of cute) annoying, so I turned around and stormed back inside without waiting for him.
Auefrit squeezed my arm the moment I walked up to her. She seemed to understand what I was going through - good, I don't want to go through it again.
After me it was her turn as a villain - and because she managed to shield the bomb itself they ultimately won due to the time running out for the heroes capture.
She came back weak, and we both smiled pitifully at each other.
---
A few days had passed, and we were going to go on our very first field trip - to a special place I guess? Sensei was once more very brief on explaining where we were going, but, sure enough, we were all excited.
Something about environments. Hopefully, it's not too boring.
I sat next to Tsu-chan and Auefrit decided to sit next to Bakugou. I don't know why, though, because to be honest... I'm still salty about his little confrontation with Midoriya-kun.
I didn't seem to catch Apateon anywhere, and noting how late he usually is to school, missing the trio didn't surprise me.
I placed my hand on my cheek as I ignored everyone's complaints, disputes, and conversations - all up until the moment I heard my name.
Not listening to the context of what they were saying, I raised my head in annoyance.
"Heard you be talking shit!" I exclaimed, angered.
They all laughed and dismissed me, more-so complimenting me on my quirk.
I sat back down with a reddened face, mumbling some not-so-nice words out of embarrassment.
