Or so you thought.

"My, offering the princess some wine how thoughtful of you, my dear prince" Blaine intervened with what seemed like a once empty but full wine glass in his hand and offering it to you. Your brother seemed relatively startled at the sudden move and jerked out "Didn't know she'd like some, what are you her personal guard dog?" 

Blaine pointed to himself "Oh, me? Why do you call me a guard dog? Do I remind you of one? Then I recommend you seeing a doctor, your eyesight seems to be faulty".

"My eyesight seems to be perfectly fine, It's seems someone needs to hold their tongue, if you want i'll probably slice it off."

"Slice it?! Ha didn't know you were into that!" Blaine taunted. 

Your brother drew out his sword and aimed at his throat. Blaine smiled whilst a sword was at his throat. "Go on, do it, I. Dare. You"

The women who seemed like your brothers wife calmed him down and ushered the prince away, as the atmosphere was getting slightly tense. Blaine likewise did the same and rather went to the corner of the hall he sighed from relief. 

"Blaine, i'm sorry on my brothers behalf of what he said." you articulated, he seemed to notice and rather chuckled. "Silly little Princess, you don't need to apologise, he can apologise later , however you should enjoy the party because you look enticing."

You didn't know how to reply as the awkward princess you were you poorly stated "you too." He shook his head smiling whilst enjoying that little moment, " Princess about that- "it was disruptively ruined by your mother, dragging you away from Blaine. 

"You measly daughter, I need you to see someone." You yanked your hand away from her and clearly replied "No."

"No, you say, what are you the kings daughter?, Hanging around that magician has tainted you, and you will be coming." she replied hastily, and yet again dragged your hand forcing you to come along. You saw a gentleman with a top hat and greeted you 

"Prince Gilbert Logan Samuel Humphrey, or if you like Gilbert for short." He lifted your hand and kissed it, you were surprised at his sudden move and moved your hand away.

"Princess [Y/N]. It was quite awkward from then on you did a quick side glance and noticed Blaine waiting with a pocket watch in his hand. "I've Go-".

 "This will be your husband as arranged" Your mother spoke once again.

"It'll be a delight to have you by my side! And once that magician is out of the way we'll be happy like before!"

you stepped on his shoes with your heels and spat on him "You're not going to be my husband and that is that." You spitefully stated. Your mother was lost for words as well as Prince Gilbert. But despite you saying no he still found you rather charming. 

"Feisty but charming, I like that in women and you seem to tick of all the boxes my dear, even though you may have bad thoughts about me right now, it's nothing that compares to the truth." he gently grabbed your hand and mumbled.

"Princess is something wrong?" Blaine ran to you worriedly. You nodded in reply and whispered " Blaine my answer is yes, i'm going away from this hell of a kingdom." 

Blaine beamed a smile. A smile that seemed genuine happy and genuinely excited .
