Chapter 1

"He's coming, run" Josh screamed

I took his advice and ran, I don't know how far I ran or how long I ran all I knew was that I had to run for my life if not I wouldn't have one. My name is Amy and this is my story.

2 days earlier

"Zombies, the "evil" creatures we see on tv shows, movies, and video games. But are they really as evil as we think of them to be. According to us, humans, zombies eat brains but do they really? Join the fiction club to find out more" Lydia explained

"For once Lydia actually made her speech sound persuading until she said to join the fiction club," Josh said

" No one wants to join a club full of losers and crazy heads, deal with it, zombies don't exist as much as I a walking dead fan would want them so they don't"

"Amy? Earth to Amy ?"

While Josh was talking Amy was actually thinking about joining the fiction club she was intrigued by the speech Lydia gave even though everyone including her best friend thought that the people from the fiction club were crazy and had mental issues but maybe they were right maybe on another planet zombies were real and they were planning to take over earth and eat every human's brain or maybe they are just fiction and burned into people's minds for entertainment.

"Earth to Amy" Josh repeated

"I think I'm gonna join" I said

"WHAT??????" Josh screeched

"You want to become one of those crazies" Josh asked

"I think I would fit in with them they wouldn't judge and we could geek out on stuff"

"You can geek out with me" Josh pleaded

"Yeah because I'm totally interested in fashion magazines and what Selena Gomez was wearing last week" I complained

I ignore josh's both surprised and ashamed facial expression and make my way to Lydia

"Hey Lydia I would like to join"

"Sorry Amy we don't accept popular people because you I don't want to ruin your life because of this one club. Look at everything you could lose ;your best friend, your perfect popular boyfriend and all of your friends."

"I would have you as friends and Wren wouldn't break up with me he loves me after all"

"That's what they all say"

Lydia left me standing there in the middle of the auditorium questioning my relationship with my high school sweetheart that I had been together with for at 1 year. This girl really was crazy in her own way. Josh runs towards me panicking.

"So what did crazy say?"

"She said that she wouldn't accept me because I am popular and she doesn't want that I lose Wren and you".

"That girl and I agree on one thing at least"

"Time for lunch Ams," he said

And then we went to lunch. Josh acted as if everything was ok but I knew it wasn't. I sat next to Wren and Josh. Both of them ignored me so I decided to eat fast and read a book at the library.

I had science homework due for tomorrow so I decided to start working on it.

"Babe"

"Hey"

He sat down next to me. We looked each other in the eyes. Wren had a mixture of brown and blond in his hair it was always so soft. I loved to touch it. Today he was wearing a white sweatshirt and pale blue jeans.
