POV Esmeralda Saint
Cowardly hiding behind the tree,as I did not dare once to look if he was approaching me with his gigantic black wolf.The same wolf which haunted me in my nightmares for days before I was kidnapped and brought here.I had sat behind a tree in the middle of a forest I did not recognise,the low rapid breathing could be heard from behind me I palmed my mouth clenching the mud from the ground.Slamming my eyes shut,I froze as I felt his fur brush against my skin.
"You ran,how are you supposed to train."Growled Alpha Carlos I opened my eyes I realised he had shifted back into his human self,I did not dare to lower my gaze because I knew for a fact he was fully naked. "Y-You shifted in front me."I tried to justify,my shoulders shivered as the memory of his bones dislocating and hair growing before he stood on four paws,staring at me. "You are no different then myself,you will be shifting in three days."I yelled as I jumped in fright grabbing the tree to help me up,I bit my lower lips nervously. "You can not expect me to get use to this,I just found out I am a WereWolf yesterday."I screamed grabbing my hair in frustration,I wanted to cry I was helpless and alone.I wanted to go home.
Alpha Carlos growled as he walked towards me slamming my back to the tree as I felt his warm temperature radiating my body,I stared into his green eyes amazed at how beautiful they were.My gaze lowered to his full lips,I felt my thirst become try.His lips moved but I could hear no words,my body just became warm and even warmer. "Bloody hell."He growled pushing himself off me,I flinched as I stared at him.I felt myself become aroused by him. "How can I forget.Heat."He mumbled to himself as he combed his hair back,I narrowed my eyes confused at what he was saying what had he forgotten. "What is Heat?"I questioned,his gaze snapped towards me his nose flared in anger.
"Pathetic human."I growled out,my lips parted offended,I stomped my way towards him as a growl escaped my throat, "I am not pathetic."He looked frozen in thoughts,I fist was clenched my lips parted as I breathed heavily making my chest rise up and down, "You growled."He breathed out,my eyes widened as his words settled he was right.I growled,It was becoming impossible for me to adapt to being a WereWolf,being different then everybody at home.
"Alpha,Apologies it ten it's her WereWolf Education time."Beta Kate spoke,It snapped him out of his thoughts as he nodded storming away.I smiled at her approaching her,my outfit was muddy and torn from all those cuts I had received from the thrones while I had ran. "Can I ask a question?"I asked twisting my head,she smiled and turned her head as she stared at me. "That is a question."She joked,I smiled and it felt as if months had gone and after a long time I had smiled and it felt good. "I'm joking go on."She urged me,I nodded my head as we began to walk, "How was your first shift like?"She looked deep in thoughts,it was as if she was remembering her memories of her first shift.
"I was sixteen,and not the average age for a WereWolf to shift but as I was a Alpha's daughter I shifted early at that age and I met Zander then when I shifted,he had just handed the title of Beta he knew I was his Mate as the average age to find your mate was eighteen and I was only sixteen,I was furious to have him as my Mate as he was ruthless just as my brother Alpha Carlos,but he was sweet and charming chasing after me like a puppy and he helped me through my training."My jaws dropped to the ground,Alpha Carlos was her brother,my head had become rapidly beating as I did not know how to handle what I had just found out. "What is a Mate?"I asked,she chuckled as we walked we were nearing the mansion. "A Mate is a soul mate,but I'm humans you find the love of you life but in WereWolf we are assigned by the Moon goddess,we respect it and it is very rare to find a Mate being rejected."She said,I nodded my head,I understood her and I was glad she had made it simple to comprehend.
"How am I Alpha Carlos's Mate if he already has a Mate?" I asked,I froze Kate as she looked at me and sighed turning around to stare at me. "When my brother,saved you from the bite of a vampire,he had not realised how deep his canines had gone.Your veins wrapped around his canines,he had two choices either to wait and let it release or snap you and you die he chose the first one unknowingly he had marked you,it's true he has a Mate and love her to heaven and back and you will meet her soon."She said,it was in a hush tone but for some reason thinking of Alpha Carlos loving someone pinched my heart.Why?I did not now.
She led me into the library,as she pulled out two chairs and pulled the table as if it was a book pulling out of the shelf,she sat down slamming a rusty old book in the table as I admired the ancient looking book as I myself sat down. "This explains about the Wolf Wolf."She showed,it was written in a weird letters a language I did not recognise and the fact that I had studied foreign language in high school made me confuse what language this was. "What language is this?"I asked she smiled,"Heirash"She spoke I narrowed my eyes confused. "It's a language for WereWolf and Witches,it keeps Human from knowing the language and the secrets hidden."I nodded my head understanding as she turned the book so it faced her before opening to the page which was needed.
"Бела крзна животиња / Волф је душа коју је послао богиња Месеца."She read out,I arched my ears as I stared at her she laughed nodded as if she had forgotten I did not understand. "The translation is A White fur animal/Wolf is a soul sent by the moon goddess"She said and all I did was nod my head letting her carry on,I could not form no words. "Бијели вук је чувар богиње Месеца пре него што је убијен малтом ђаволом, пророчанство наставља и изреку да ће се бели вук вратити у било којем облику или облику"She said out loud,her fingers tracing after each word which was written on the enormous book. "A White wolf was the guardian of the moon goddess before it was killed by malice the devil,the prophecy carries on and the saying that the white wolf would return,in any shape or form."I narrowed my eyes to why I had seen a white wolf,I was no guardian. "Why did I see the white wolf?"I asked,she stared at me debating to say it or not. "That's your wolf you saw."She answered as my eyes widened,shocked and stiff.
