"She will sing for you and never write you the poetry I used to. She'll love every poem you write her... But they won't sound like the ones you used to come up with on the phone with me.
She will make you coffee when it rains even though you prefer tea and you'll laugh at how you named rainy weathers after me.
You'll smile when she says blue instead of black when you ask her what your favourite colour is.
She won't know any of this. She won't make jokes the way I did. She'll be warmth when I was fire.
This will hurt
Yet somehow you'll thank the heavens
That she isn't me. And you will love her. In a way you could not love me. "
