liked by camila_cabello, allybrooke, and 16,784 others kianawilliams: Lauren had to have surgery for her appendix a few weeks ago. She went into a coma a few weeks ago, right after her surgery. She just woke up a few hours ago, and I'm going to tell you my whirlwind of emotions I went through and why you should never take life for granted. It felt like I had lost her, and it literally killed me seeing her just laying there. It felt like my whole world was just crashing down. I was so used to waking up right next to her every morning, being able to her laugh at the corny jokes I always told her, being able to just feel safe and know she was always there to talk to. It killed me inside when the doctors told me she might not make it out of the state she was in, and I prayed to God every second that I wouldn't lose this girl. She's my everything, and I know she's going to be the girl I spend the rest of my life with. I forgot about all our fights, petty arguments about our apartment being dirty, or her not doing the chores, I pushed it all away because I knew at any moment I could lose her. I made sure to never leave her side unless I absolutely had to. I kissed her cheek and told her everything was going to be okay every day. Yesterday, she stopped breathing for a few seconds and my life flashed before my eyes. I broke down, I thought she was really gone. I thought I had just lost the love of my life just when I got her back. The next day, she opened her eyes, and the first thing she said was "I'm going to marry you." I usually never post cliche shit but that's the moment I knew she was mine forever and always. So when I say I never want to lose this girl, you know I fucking mean it.
