Chapter 6: Pacify Him

The song Pacify Her inspired this chapter. Only this is about 2 guys fighting over a girl not 2 girls fighting over a guy.

Otis stared at Olympia, who was reading on her desk. She smiled when she saw him.

Otis decided he wouldn't give up on Olympia.

If Oliver has her it's because he made a move on her. I have to be more confident as well. I know she likes me back.

He thought.

Olympia saw a small note in her desk.

"I know how much you love chocolate, so here are some chocolates. As well as a rose to match your beautiful red hair." the note said.

With the note a beautiful red rose and a box of chocolates were on her table.

Olympia smiled at Otis when she finished reading the note. She grabbed the rose and smelled it.

Otis is so sweet.

She thought.

Someone told me stay away from things that aren't yours
But was she yours if she wanted me so bad?

Oliver saw the note she read and snatched it off her hands. He read it and glared at Otis. He crumpled the paper and threw it back at his desk.

"Come on, babe. Let's go get ice cream. My treat. You don't need those chocolates. Ice cream is so much better than chocolate." He said, taking the box of chocolates off her hands and throwing them on the small trash can next to her desk.

As they left, Otis took the rose which was left on the desk.

He plucked the rose petals off to play

When they returned a small box accompanied by a note was in Olympia's desk. Olympia's eyes widen as she opened the box, revealing a beautiful panda ring.

I know you like pandas so here's a panda.

Olympia blushed and smiled at Otis.

Otis smiled back.

Oliver glared at Otis and Otis raised his eyebrows and had a smug on his face.

Oliver got another ring. It was a much more expensive ring with a heart-shaped diamond.

Oliver took the ring Otis gave her and angrily throw across the room, Otis dodging it.

Otis glares as Oliver just gives him an evil smirk as Olympia hugs him as she puts his ring on her finger.

Pacify him! He's getting on my nerves!
You don't love him!!

When Oliver leaned in to kiss Olympia, Otis used a gadget called the candy-ring-pop-inator to make a ring pop appear in his mouth to stop the kiss.

Otis glanced at Olympia with a smile. She smiled back.

"Come on Olympia let's go to the park." Oliver whined.

I can't stand his whining
Where's his pop ring now?
And loving him seems tiring
So girl just love me down down down

As Oliver talked with Olympia, she stared at Otis. Otis gave a flirty smile and waved. Oliver turned to see who she was looking at and he pulled her arm to take her away.

Pacify him!
He's getting on my nerves!
You don't love him
Stop lying with those words.

Olympia and Otis began walking up to each other.

Before their lips could touch, Oliver got in the middle.

He leaned towards Olympia and kissed her.

He took her by the hand and they walked away.

A tear rolled on Otis' cheek.

He had failed once again.

He woke up and felt a tear in the corner of his eye. He realized that he actually cried in his sleep.

(This chapter was all a dream.)

Why can't I at least end up with Olympia in my dreams?

He thought sadly, wiping off the tear.

The song is basically about a girl named Crybaby who likes a taken guy, named Blue Boy but he's taken by a girl named Basic Bitch.

So basically Otis is Crybaby since he's the person Olympia loves for real, Olympia is Blue Boy since she's the one being fought over and Oliver is Basic Bitch since he's the one Olympia thinks she loves but actually doesn't love.
