I pace the hallways hoping no one will see me. Luckily no one was there but my friend, Inferena. I didn't want to get caught talking to her to I threw a little wave and fake smile and went on. "Well good job. You got sent to the office! Well done. Well done." The voice said in a sarcastic and unnecessary tone.

"Well it's your fault I'm here. If you weren't focusing on my grade more than the test I had CURRENTLY then I won't have to see the principal." I responded in aggravation. The voice kept blabbing on but I tried my best to ignore. I enter in and right away I see the stern, unpleasant look of the principal, Mr. Hurr Igh Caine.

"Miss. Vapor, come right in." I thought his tone would sound more angry than it did when he invited me to his office.  I sat down and he went to the other side of the desk and did the same. He folded his hands and asked "Why are you here" in the most calm tone I would have ever imagined.

"Uhhhhh...I um... we had a test in math class and uh...." I studdered searching for something to say.

"Think on your feet. Don't be dumb again." I hear. The voice said this in a tone that anticipated that I'm gonna be stupid and mess it up.

"Iwasreadingthequestionsoutloudtomyselfsoidontmissanybitofit" I loudly yet fastly responded. I hope it want obvious that I lied. I kinda had to considering that if I told him I was talking to the voice in my head that I would be in an asylum.

"Oh okay well it seems you're in order Miss. Vapor. You're fine. Just speak quieter and keep up the good work. Tomorrow is our last day of the quarter and-" as soon as I heard last day the voice stirred up and said "Last chance to get this grade up as well." After I saw Mr. Caine's lips stop moving, I said "Okay" and went back to class.

"Have a nice day!" He said with a smile across his face. I responded "I will." Even though my day has been complete shit.
