Twenty Five

~Kelsey's POV~

We were all finally on our way back from Florida to L.A. Everything was perfect, Naomi and Jonah were behind us.

Daniel looked at me, placing one hand on my thigh as the other hand was placed firmly on the steering wheel.

"I love you," ~I told Daniel and he smiled. "I love you too." He replied smiling at me.

I put some music on, the first song was Trust Fund Baby. We both sang along to it, laughing at our goofiness.

I rested my head on the chair and stared at Daniel. Even if he wasn't looking at me, it didn't matter.

I smiled to myself, remembering how lucky I was to have him as my boyfriend.

"What are you looking at me for?" ~Daniel asked, looking at me from the corner of his eye.

"You, I'm just so lucky to have you as not just my boyfriend, but my best friend," ~I told him and he smiled.

He put his eyes back on the road as we joined onto a motorway.

Cars were speeding past us, it scared me at how much speed Daniel was gaining.

"Daniel slow down you're going to hit something," ~I said and he looked at me.

"I'm doing the speed limit." ~He told me and I nodded.

He eventually slowed down because he could see the terror on my face.

"Kelsey, brace yourself," ~Daniel said after a few more minutes of driving.

I looked at him shielding his face, then looked out of the window at the car speeding towards us on the wrong side of the road.

We were now on a normal road, but it didn't matter. I grabbed Daniels hand I prepared for the worst.

~Naomi's POV~

I saw it all, the crash, mine and Jonah's car was directly behind theirs. I saw my best friend, and her boyfriend gets involved in a terrible accident.

I walked through the hospital, heading straight to Kelsey's room. I opened the door and saw Jack and Corbyn already set there.

"She's awake, Jonah and Zach are with Daniel," ~Jack told me.

I sat on the edge of Kelsey's bed, I saw her hand twitch before her eyes came to life.

"Kelsey," ~I said and hugged her.

"Ow, rib cage." ~She muttered and I pulled away.

"Sorry," ~I sighed and she smiled.

"Wheres Daniel?" ~She asked and I looked over at Jack cautiously.

"He's not in a very good position," ~Corbyn said and Kelsey stared at me blankly.

She looked as though she had just lost her whole world, and that nothing mattered anymore.

"I'm so sorry," ~Jack said taking Kelsey's hand.

Corbyn looked at me as I walked out of the room.

"I'm going to see Daniel," ~I told them before walking to his room just down the corridor.

I walked into the room and saw Jonah and Zach sat with him. Daniel laid lifeless, his chest hardly even moving.

He had wires and tubes all over him.

"I really hope Kelsey doesn't have to see you like this," ~I whispered.

"She'd be heartbroken," ~Zach added and I nodded sitting with them.

"Now what do we do?" ~Jonah asked and I shrugged.

"We wait for a miracle to happen," ~I whispered under my breath.

Even though we might not get one.
