You look into my eyes. It drives me crazy because you’re all I can see. Nothing else. I see only you when we make eye contact. The rest of the universe is a void.
But I’m blinded by a love that does not go both ways. When you look at me, you see a small, confused child. When I see you, I see into your soul, the way there is no tension between us because I’m nothing but a love-sick puppy, and you have complete control.
And you know how I feel. You are all I will ever need. I can’t see anything else, can’t think about anything else, because in my eyes, I am yours and you are mine.
I can see that you feel pity for me, yet why am I so attracted to you? And I’m not the only one. I feel honoured that you pay me so much attention, but I’m far too lost in you. This deep inside, only one person can bring me back to my senses. You.
So don’t try to help me. It doesn’t matter if it’s you, or someone else. Either way, I’m drowning, just too lost in you.
