Mysterious Source

(Dicks cast has been removed and his leg is healed)

It was early in the morning and Dick was downstairs eating some of Alfred's famous blueberry pancakes. Most of the drama had settled down, and everything seemed to be back to normal. A loud knock was then heard at the door. Dick looked up at Alfred, he looked confused aswell. This person who knocked sounded angry and aggressive. Was it someone trying to break it?

"Gotham Police Department! Open this door immediately, or I will be forced to enter. We have a warrant!" Yelled a man with a rather deep voice. Alfred quickly raced to the door as Bruce came downstairs due to all the noise.

"Why are the police at the door causing all of this ruckus?" Bruce turned to Dick as if saying,' What did you do?' Dick raised his hands and shook his head. He was innocent! At least, he didn't think he had done anything.

Once Alfred opened the door several policemen came barging through.

"What is this about?" Bruce yelled wanting answers. Intruding his sanctuary would have to be for a good reason.

"Bruce Wayne, you are under arrest for the abuse of Richard Grayson!" A police officer yelled while reaching for handcuffs,"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law!" The policemen placed the cuffs on Bruce's wrists.

"What's going on?! What are you doing to him?!" Dick yelled trying to get to Bruce, but was pulled away by police men. He struggled and squirmed to be freed from their grip, but he was Dick Grayson, not Robin, so much couldn't be done.

Dick was lost as to why they were arresting Bruce for abuse. Didn't Bruce tell Dick that everything was all cleared up, and their worries were gone? What happen to that? Dick paused. He mentally face palmed. He was such an idiot. Of course, Bruce had lied to him. Why hadn't even considered that?

"It's ok, you are safe now." A police man told Dick. Dick jumped from the officer and ran towards Bruce.

"Leave him alone! He's not guilty!" More police gripped him and led him deeper into the mansion. They didn't believe him...

"I was told I wasn't guilty. I would never lay a hand on Richard." Bruce protested," Why am I being arrested?"

"We received new evidence from a mysterious source." A policemen spoke as he took Bruce outside and led him towards a cop car. A mysterious source? Someone had done this on purpose... But who?

"You will be taken to an orphanage for a while, but don't worry you won't stay there long. A family has volunteered to adopt you." A policemen comforted Dick while trying to put him into a separate police car once they were outside. He loosened his grip as he reached for the door, so the boy wonder took his chance and ran back into the mansion.

He rapidly slipped into the bat cave and changed into his Robin uniform.

He then turned on the camera viewing the inside of the mansion. He had to make sure they didn't find the cave.

Police men were going around the mansion looking for Dick. They were yelling at each other and yelling things into their walkie-talkies.

Dick then saw Alfred. The ebony could tell that Alfred was worried, but he kept looking towards the grandfather clock that led to the bat cave and a small smirk appeared on his face when he did. He must have seen the boy run into the cave. Dick smiled at Alfred wondering how long it would be until he could see him again. He took one last look at Alfred and then walked into a zeta beam. He was going to find out who put Bruce in jail. Who this mysterious is, and why they wanted Bruce sent to prison. And Dick wasn't going to stop searching until the criminal was behind bars and Bruce was with him again,"Take me to Mount Justice." His life on the run now begun....
