The Next Part (Pokemon)

Danger from Above

Recap: Serena and Meowth have kidnapped our heroes. Putting Ash and Iris in a dark cave and taking Cilan to Team Rocket HQ. Ash feeling the pressure that all of this is his fault, broke up with Iris. With the help of the former Team Rocket duo, Jessie and James, Ash and Iris escaped the cave and on their way to Rocket HQ to try to stop Team Rocket's mysterious plan...

The four riding on the Fearow approached Team Rocket HQ.

"This is as far as we can go in sky. The rest is on foot." James said.

"Alright everyone ready?" Iris said. She looked at Ash. "How about you."

It took a while, but she got an answer.

"I guess," Ash said.

They were at the entrance, going over the plan.

"James and I are going to enter first because we have our Pokémon. You guys run through and try to find the room where they're keeping everyone." Jessie said.

"We all go in 3...2...1...NOW!"

Ash and Iris jumped from Fearow and onto the roof of the headquarters.

The two looked and found a vent. But getting inside wasn't gonna be easy.

"Ack! My hair, it can't fight through." Iris said.

"Well I guess that's it. Team Rocket has won." Ash said depressed.

"Are you really giving up that easily Ash?" Iris pouted. "There's a simple solution.

Iris pulled out a small knife out of her pocket.

"Umm. What are you-"

"Relax! I'm just cutting it." Iris said.

And in a quick chop, Iris's hair was shorter.

'Wow she looks cuter with her hair short.' Ash said to himself. He immediately started to feel guilt.

'Why did I say those things. Was I really that sad. Will Iris forgive me?' Ash continued to think with a sad look on his face.

Ash and Iris continued through the vents as they were some insane puzzle. It was very fun in there.

"Man where am I even supposed to go?" Iris said. "It's like a labyrinth."

"Huh. Oh yeah." Ash said after a hesitation.

~Meanwhile back on the roof~

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY ESCAPED?!?" Serena yelled through the earpiece.

"I's mean dat they'd escaped. I'd just checks da cave they'd weres in and dem ain't there!" Meowth explained kinda ticked off.

"Well it's not like they could go far, they have no Pokémon and they're pretty weak." Serena said calming down.

"Well, I's sees the brat girl's hair her on the floor..." Meowth said hesitantly. "Also's, the vent's is open..."

"OH MY- MEOWTH IF I DON'T JUST. THAT MEANS THEY'RE INSIDE!" Serena yelled.

Serena hung up on Meowth who was questioning how he got stuck with her. 

Then Meowth noticed a Fearow flying in circles in the air in going the other direction. 

'That doesn't look to good," Meowth said as he followed the Pokemon.  

~Inside the HQ~

"Grrr. How the heck did they even do that?" Serena pondered to herself. "There's no way-"

Suddenly, Ash and Iris flew out of the vents and landed on Serena.

"Oww that hurt," Iris stated.

"Umm. Iris, you may want to look what we landed on." Ash said hesitantly.

Iris turned her head as her eyes and Serena's eyes met.

"SERENA/IRIS," Iris and Serena said in sync.

They both jumped off from the floor and started dusting themselves.

"Why are you here!" Serena yelled.

"Well I don't know, maybe because you kidnapped all our friends?!" Iris shot back.

"Yeah well..." Serena started. She swiftly pulled out a gun from her pocket and pointed it at Iris.

"I can't have you interfering with Team Rocket's plans." She said.

Iris backed up, trying to make some distance between her and the gun. In panic, she looked at Ash who wasn't doing anything helpful. He just laid there.

'Sometimes I think who's heart was really broken... Mine's or his...' Iris pondered. She shook her head and decided none of that really mattered right now.

"Ash! It's time to move! Get your sorry ass up and MOVE!" Ash, shocked by her sudden changed in mood, quickly got up and started running. Iris turned around to face Serena.

"Well. See ya later you crazy yandere." 

"What do you mean-" Before she could finish her sentence, Iris had thrown her pocket knife at Serena's foot, causing her to scream in pain. Iris got out of there and followed Ash while Serena laid on the floor squeezing her leg.

"Damn bitch." Serena muttered to herself. The blonde reached for her earpiece. "Oi! Meowth! Get over here, I need assistance.... What do you mean you can't?!"

~Outside the HQ~

"I mean I can't right now! I've got my own problems to deal with." With that statement, Meowth hung up on Serena and faced his current problem at hand. His former Team Rocket members, Jessie and James.

"My my, fancy seeing you here Meowth." James said while waving his hand. 

"Well this IS Team Rocket's main base. You and I both know why we're here." Meowth cockily replied. 

"How'd you find us anyway?" Jessie asked her former comrade. 

"Eh. Saw a familiar Pokemon in the sky. And then suddenly, our prisoners had escaped. Seems a little sketchy don't you think..." 

"Yea..." In that moment, James sent out his Fearow. "Use Drill Peck go!" Spinning it's beak, Fearow sped toward Meowth who swiftly dodged. 

"So that's how we're playing huh? Alright mates, let's tango." Meowth said while preparing his Fury Swipes...

Why did I update this? hAha. I don't know. Maybe I wanted to finish my first story on Wattpad... Welp I can't say it's back for sure, but I guess it can't hurt to update once in a while...
