It's Suffocating...

I was asleep in bed when I awoke from a door opening, Karl must've had another restless night. I sat up and yawned before getting out of bed and heading out of my room and to the living room. Karl was sitting on the floor by the couch, staring at the wall.

"Karl??" I asked, cocking a brow, Karl jumped a little and looked at me, something.... Was off though... I couldn't place it as much as I tried.

"Oh! Hello Climber, sorry, did I wake you??" Karl asked, tilting his head.

"Uh, yeah.." I walked over to him and sat down, he almost immediately pulled me into his lap, "Wha- Karl??"

"Shush, don't question it.." Karl cooed, his voice cold and empty, it sent a shiver down my spine. He lifted his hand and I felt something against my neck... Rope..

"K-Karl?? What are you doing!?" I yelped, trying to pull the rope off my neck, but Karl quickly wrapped it around my neck.

"Calm down Climber, it's okay, you're okay.." Karl purred.

"K-Karl, you're s-scaring-" I gagged as Karl pulled the rope tight, nearly cutting off my air supply, "K-Karl- please- S-Stop!" I choked out, pulling at the rope.

"Shhh... You're fine, calm down..." Karl whispered as he continued to pull on the rope, cutting off my air supply completely. I began to choke and gag, trying to get air in my lungs. I clawed at the rope, struggling against Karl as much as I could, but that seemed to make it worse. I could feel myself becoming lightheaded as the time passed slowly. I wanted Karl to stop, I wanted to go to bed, getting up was a terrible idea.... I didn't want to die.... Karl continued to mutter calming words to me, but this didn't help at all.

After a few minutes, which felt like hours, Karl said something besides the calming words, "Well, would you look at that! You're turning blue! It won't be long now~ it'll all be over, you can slip into a peaceful sleep, and I'll be able to watch the life fade from your eyes~" he cooed. I could feel my attempts at escape slowly becoming weaker as I could feel myself slipping away. My hands dropped to the floor as my vision began to fade, I couldn't move, I was scared as all hell.... Why would Karl do this?? That was my last thought before it all went black.

//Should I do a sequel in Karl's POV??
