Prologue

in Lilith asumi's class

you were trying not to fall asleep due to the your neighbor in the dorm (arata) yelling last night and you didn't get a wink of sleep and your eyes were fluttering open and closed in

(F/n): (aw crap no (full name) stay awake stay wake)) ah crap

then your head lowers to your desk and your eyes close and you fall asleep and for a few minutes you were asleep until you felt something hit your head and you shot up

you see Lilith with a book in her hand (the thing that hit your head) and she didn't look happy at all and you gave our a nervous smile and laughed a bit

(F/n): uh sorry

Lilith: mr. (L/n) this is the third time this week you've been falling asleep in my class

(F/n): I'm sorry it's just my neighbor next to my dorm won't be quiet at night

Lilith: don't give me excuses you will have to stay after class today again (walks to the front)

(F/n): (aw man) (you hit your head on your desk) dammit

as class went on you looked and saw arata looking at you with a smirk and you give him a glare and without anyone looking or noticing you use your magic (shadow minupulation) to go to arata and take the leg of his chair and tip it over and he falls back and everyone laughs

(F/n): (take that jerk) (you smirk back at him then return your attention to the front and lilith was yellign at arata for disrupting class)

later after class

you were sitting in front of lilith talkign to you

lilith: listen it's not good for you to sleep in class ok you have powerful magic here and you nee to be able to use it to your full extent

(F/n): i know but like i said my next door neigbor is keeping me up at night and i don't really know what he does but either way he keeps he up all night

lilith: ok i'll look into this btu please don't fall asleep in class again ok

lilith: ok you can go now

you walk out of the class and you start to walk to the nurses office to nap

(F/n): (you yawn) man i got in trouble for whatever my neigbor is doing

as you were walkign there was a yell and you ran to the nurses office and when you opend the door you saw a guy in your class on the ground very hurt with him in a pool of blood and you kneeled down to him and checked his pulse

(F/n): (you feel his pulse) oh thank god your not dead but where is the nurse or teacher

then a random girl came in and saw you with bloody hands next to the boy and she screamed

(F/n): wait it's not what it looks like (you stand up)

girl: get away frim me murderer (runs away)

(F/n): wait oh man

the next day

you slept fine that night and you woke up and got out of  bed and you saw a newspaper under your door and you walked to it and picked it up and what you saw on the cover shocked you and made you drop the paper

yesterday after classes got out the student (full name) the wielder of shadow magic attacked a student and almost killed him until a female student walked in on what was happening and saw his hands were covered in the students blood along with his uniform

(F/n): no i didn't do that what the what is going on

you look to see who made the paper and saw the name "selina sherlock"

(F/n): no she wasn't there i need to try to set things straight now

you get dressed and walk out and when you do many of the students give you disgusted looks and afraid looks as well and you starts to walk faster as the looks got worse and then you sprint down the hallway and you run and hide behind a corner
