Nalu: It effects everyone

Chapter 6: Alone together

After everyone leaves it's only me and Natsu. He was sitting on the couch and I went and sat next to him. Natsu pulls me closer so I'm right next to him.

"Luce, you are so brave and so powerful." I lean closer to him and put my head in the crook of his neck. I can smell a slight must on Natsu's neck.

"Thank you, I don't know how that came from me."

"Whatever it was it was amazing." I close my eyes taking in Natsu's presence. I end up falling asleep in his arms. When I wake up I'm still in Natsu's arms but we're in my bed instead. I was so tired I just wanted to fall back asleep. When I woke up again it was definitely through half of the day. Natsu was awake already and up cleaning. I start to sit up but can't move much because of all of the bruises. I get up and come up behind Natsu.

"Good morning." He wraps me in a hug.

"Morning. I need to shower before we go to the guild." I pull away from his hug and take the quickest shower ever. We go right after to see the magic council at the guild.

"We need to see Lucy Heartfilia." One of the esteemed frogs says.

"What do you need me for?"

"Just some questioning. Come come." I follow behind them into a private office I never knew existed here.

"How did you know Emil before the mission?"

"I was supposed to marry him."

"How old were you? How old was he?"

"I was 16, he was 18."

"Who wanted you to marry him then? Why?"

"My father, he wanted me to marry him for the money his family could offer my fathers investments. When I ran away and said no Emil took it out on my father. He had drained my father of money."

"What did Emil do to you?"

"He beat me, he starved me, he touched me, and he mentally abused me. His butler had penetrated my mind and forced awful thoughts on me."

"What kind of thoughts?"

"Mostly how terrible I am. How I should just die. How I don't deserve anything good because I am awful in every way." I start fidgeting with my hands and avoid the frogs face.

"I have no further questions for you. Will you tell Natsu Dragneel to come in here please?"

"Of course." I stand up to leave when Natsu walks in. I can tell he is already frustrated and not wanting to do this. I smile at him before I go down to help the guild rebuild the front area. None of the inside of the guild needs to be re-done so it should be a quick project to work on. I walk over to where Happy and Carla are putting bricks on high places anyone else can't reach. I call on Gemini and Taurus to help. Loke came half way through to help as well. Natsu wasn't questioned for long, he had been helping and fighting on and off the whole time. I know there all crazy but I will always love being around these crazy awesome people. It only takes us the day to get the guild fixed. The rest of the day we sit around hanging out. Natsu stays by me almost the whole time.

"Luce, do you want to go to a water park with Gray and Juvia tonight?" I lean in closer to Natsu.

"That sounds great. What one are we going to?"

"The park in Crocus." Juvia says while her and Gray come to sit with me and Natsu. "We talked about getting some dinner before going as well if your up for it."

"Sounds good to me. Are you alright with the pans Natsu?"

"Yeah, they sound good to me. What time do you guys want to meet at the train station?" We get everything figured out then me and Natsu go to get ready. He said he will meet me at the train station before we leave. I get some fruit from the kind old lady before I go home. I put on a black bikini with a dress over it. Why am I wearing this? Natsu won't like it. I look awful. I shake my head trying to get the voice out of my head, except I know it's my own. I grab my keys and leave to the station. I was a little early so I go to a few shops and look through some of the clothes. I've been wanting to get a new outfit. I make it to the station on time, but no one else was there. I go and pick up out tickets and wait for Natsu, Gray, and Juvia to come. When Natsu comes he looks like he just woke up. Juvia seems to be in super high spirits, as does Gray. Even if Natsu had a nap he stills falls right asleep on the train. He lays on me like usual. Instead of falling asleep myself I talk to gray and Juvia. When we get back we all go our separate ways. Natsu was coming over after grabbing stuff from his apartment. I go and lay down on my bed. I fell asleep right away, but the dream I had was not from me.
