Cravings

Waking up early the next morning you turned onto your other side. Now facing your new husband you smiled sleepily bringing up a hoof to hover over his cheek before going to his snout and booping it. “Dang it mare. This is the fifth time this week go back to sleep.” Sombra muttered moving away from your hoof but moved to hug you close, resting his head on your chest as he slowly dragged his hoof down your body to lightly rub your growing stomach. Giggling softly you started playing with his mane, “But I'm craving oats and peach cream.” You whisper whined to your lover. Lifting his head to squint at the clock on the nightstand, “It's not even seven yet. Ignore your cravings for at least another hour.” Sombra said laying back down to get comfortable, running your tongue along the inside of your cheek. “You know now I want sugar cubes, carrots, and peanut butter.” You said tapping your chin making the male next to you groan, “Your damn cravings are driving me nuts.” He grumbled turning over to face the other way. Rolling your eyes “Well whose fault is it that I have cravings, huh?” You asked sitting up as Sombra barely turned his head off of his fluffy pillow. “Its the babies fault.” He stated smugly making you huff “Oh really blame an unborn filly w-” “Foal. Our first born is going to be a foal.” Sombra interrupted sitting up quickly to look at you with full seriousness. A bit dumb founded at his statement you snorted before laughing “Oh Celestia help me now. What is with royalty wanting first born sons? I swear!” You joked making the raven maned male growl a bit as he swung his arm at you making you lay back down with him hovering over you. “If I get you your damn snakes will you go back to sleep? We don't leave for our honeymoon for another four hours.” Sombra whispered trailing kisses from your neck to your lips. Smiling happily you wrapped your arms around his neck, “Thank you Somby, I promise to go back to sleep after we settle my cravings.” You promised kissing your husband's cheek lovingly as he sighed getting out of the warm comfortable bed. Sitting back up you waited for a few minutes playing with the blanket as you started to feel a little bit lonely, fidgeting with the blanket a bit more you turned to the door hoping for your husband to be walking in. Moving forward you tried to see him with no luck, humming you laid down on Sombra's side hugging his pillow and faced the doorway when your lower stomach sent a jolt of pain through your body. Down stairs Sombra was humming an old song his mother tough him as he prepared your craved items. Grabbing the try with his mouth, Sombra was about to head up stairs when a terrifying scream ripped through the house causing the colt to jump dropping everything he made as he shadowed himself back to your side in an instant. “(Y/N)! My dearest what's the matter!?” Sombra yelled holding you close as you panted heavy. “Oh Luna and Celestia the baby is coming!” You groaned holding your stomach as contraction pains still ran through you. In under disbelief “It's to soon! It can't come out now!” The shadow colt yelled wide eyed as he started to panic. Gritting your teeth “Well we don't really get a choice here! Now go get the freaking doctor!” You screamed pushing the male away, losing his balance and landing on his back. Sombra immediately turned over and sprinted out the widow in his shadow form as you screamed in pain again. Moving faster than he ever went in a blur, Sombra past the town's doctors house causing him to skid and turn at the same time making him fall out of his shadow form. Cursing under his breath Sombra jumped up and ran to the front door, baning his hoof into it until some of the lights inside flicked on. Backing away from the door once it opened and not giving the pony a chance to question him “My wife's in labor! She only seven months along! Please I beg of you help her!” Sombra yelled fidgeting where he stood as the stallion in front of him ran back into his home screaming to his family about an emergency that needed him. As soon as the doctor was able to set hoof out of the door Sombra had a hold of him and used his shadow abilities to quicken the trip. Jumping back though the window Sombra dropped the doctor as his heart nearly stopped when his eyes landed on you. Laying on the bed you had your eyes tightly shut and had curled in on yourself on you side holding your stomach as you cried in pain while blood slowly seeped from your lower regions. “(Y/N)! My love what happened? Doctor do something!” Sombra yelled rushing to your side to cradle you, as the white coated stallion stood up a bit wobbly as he shook his head to get rid of the dizziness. “We have to get her to the clinic immediately. There me and my staff can find out what caused the bleeding and early labor. But we can't travel the way you brought me here, it'll put to much stress on both her and the baby.” The doctor said moving to your side checking your pulse and forehead for any kind of sickness. Groaning you barely opened your eyes to mutter out your husband's name before paying out from the pain. Sucking in a breath Sombra wrapped you up tightly in a blanket and deleted you onto his back. “Let's hurry.” Was all he said looking at the doctor lost on what to do. Nodding the white coated stallion picked up his bag and followed the dark colt or of the room and out of the house heading in the direction of the clinic.
