[-Bailee-]

"Bailee, I'm off to New York." Dad walks into the living room where I sit on the black leather couch enjoying the lovely taste of Lucky Charms.

"Kay Dad, have fun." I continue to shove the marshmallows and cereal in my mouth. He walks over to me and plants a kiss on my tan forehead.

"Guess what." He smiles.

"What?" I put the empty bowl on the wooden coffee table in front of me.

"I'm working with the Avengers."

"Who?"

"Captain America and Iron Man. There's others but those are the only two you would know."

My dad is madly in love with Captain America. He would always come home and say that he saw Captain America in ice, but he's still alive. I sometimes think he loves him more than his wife, my mother. She died five years ago from breast cancer. Dad never wanted anyone to know about her, or me. I'm not allowed to move into my own place or visit him at work. The only person who knows about me is Nick Fury. I'm a 21 year old women, I don't understand why he doesn't let me go out on my own.

"That's cool, too bad I can't go to your work and talk to these two famous people." I stand up and put a big smile on my face.

"No." He walks out of the living room.

"Dad! Please! I want to go to your work!" I follow him.

"No. I'm working in the helicarrier and I know you're afraid of heights. Especially not now because we are looking for a dangerous person." He opens the door to the garage.

"Fine, just please be careful." I give him a hug. "Love you."

"Love you too." He walks out the door, closing it behind him. I quickly run into my room, grabbing my laptop and flopping on my double sized bed. After turning it on I go to google and type 'Captain America'

Articles upon articles about him. It says that he survived a plane reck. It says that a women named Peggy Carter knew Steve back in the 1900's. She now lives in a nursing home in D.C. How convenient. Maybe I should ask her a few questions.

I don't just sit at home all day, I have a job. I'm a newspaper interviewer. My boss is very mean but gives me a good pay. I quickly turn off my computer and rush to the bathroom. After washing my face and brushing my teeth I run into my room to change into my day cloths. I put on white shorts with a knitted black sweater that has white stripes on it. I slip on a pair of my favorite blue vans and let my natural wavy light brown to light

blonde ombré hair fall to my middle back. I do a smokey look on my eyelids and finish off with a light pink lip stick.

Satisfied with my look I walk into mine and dad's office grabbing my small video camera and notepad with my special blue pen. I walk out to the garage as I say goodbye to my black lab which I named Buck, because he loves to go hunting deer with me. I don't go hunting very often anymore since Buck is getting old. Since my dad took Lola, the car which my dad named after my mother who bought him the car, I have to take the plain old blue Porsche. I drive to the nursing home where Peggy is living and walk up to the front desk.

"Welcome to the Giving Love Nursing Home, how may I help you?" A young women with with black hair and sharp cheekbones asks. She chews a piece of bubblegum as she files her nails.

"Well," I read the women's name tag. "Susan, I'm here to see Peggy Carter. I work for a newspaper company and we're looking for news stories."

The women looks up at me with her dull blue eyes. "I'll need you to sign in."
