Little Princess's Dream

Lila is little Princess who lives in a very huge castle where she was very happy. Their castle was surrounded by beautiful flowers where every morning she loves to play it in there.  She especially love rolling in the green grass.

But there is something else that Lila wanted to do. Something extraordinary.

Lila had two friends living near from their castle, Molly and Wally. Molly and Wally are twins who loves to dance and sing.  They both knew what does Lila wanted to do.

One afternoon, Lila, Molly and Wally are playing on the top of the hill. But suddenly Lila get tired of playing.

"Come on Lila, let's roll down." Molly said while giggling.

"Yes! Yes! Hurry!" Wally exclaimed excitedly.

But Lila just sat on the grass as she speak.

"Aw, if only I could fly." Lila said with a big sigh. "Well, being a princess is great. But being a flying princess? That would be the best." Said Lila.

Lila stand on the bench, then she jump high hoping  she could fly now, but sadly she fell down.

On the next day Molly and Wally is waiting for Lila to play. But Lila didn't go out in her room. Lila was sad that makes her stayed in her room for a week.

Molly and Wally love Lila and they wanted her dream come true. So the twins decided to gather things that they could use for Lila to fly.

"Lila! Come out there! We have surprise for you!" Molly said excitedly. She was wearing her yellow gown and white shoes. She looks like a fairy godmother while holding her magic wand.

Lila looked down to her friends from her window.

"Oh Lila! Come on, the surprise is waiting!" Wally shouted breathlessly. He was wearing a cape like a magician.

Lila giggle as she saw her friends. "Oh, what's with that costumes huh?" She said.

"You'll never know if you don't come out in your room and meet us in the top of the hill." Molly said while raising her eyebrows up and down.

"And please wear a costume." Wally added. Then the twins started to run going on the top of the hill.

Excited Lila hurriedly open her closet and wear her butterfly costume. She got this feeling that this is the day her dreams will come true.

"Molly? Wally? Where are you?" Lila speak as she arrived at the hill but no one is there.

Lila waited. But still no one is showing. "Alright, maybe I'll leave." Lila said and started to walk back to the Castle.

"Surprise!" Molly and Wally shouted. Hearing the voice of her friends, Lila turn around to see her friends.

"Wow! What's that?" Lila surprisedly asked her friends.

"Well, we know that you really wanted to fly." Molly explained.

"So, we decided to give you a flying lesson using this wings we made." Wally continued.

"Amazing! I'm so excited!" Lila said as she hugged her friends. "Thank you."

"Alright, let's stop the drama and start the flying lesson!" Molly announced.

Lila stand on the top of the bench holding the wings that Molly and Wally made.

"Alright, now just flap your wings up and down." Molly instructed.

"Up and down Lila. Make it more faster. And in the count of 3-2-1.......JUMP!" Wally shouted.

But just like before, Lila dropped and landed on the grass.

"Uh, well Lila maybe you are not meant to fly." Molly explained.

"How about we just roll on the grass instead? You love that Lila." Wally suggested and started rolling.

"Not now Wally." Lila said and walked away.

Lila sat sadly on her bed until the sun went down. But what she didn't know, someone is watching her flying lesson. Gruc the fearsome monster who is hiding under her bed for a long time.

"Grrrrrr." Gruc started to sneeze cause of the dirt under Lily's bed. Because of Gruc's sneeze, Lily's bed shakes as if there is an earthquake.

Lila got scared so she jump out on her bed and hurriedly hide on the curtain. Little by little Gruc came out on the bed.

"W-who are you?!" Stammer Lila is hiding on the curtain while holding a pillow.

"Don't be scared little Princess. I'm a friend. I may looked like a monster but my heart is pure. Grrrrrr" Gruc explained and started walking. Gruc was a fearsome monster who was set to have a magical power.

"Then you can be my friend too?" Lila asked.

"I would love too!" Gruc was happy to have a new friend.

"Then, friends?" Lila asked and do a shake hand to Gruc.

"Friends." Gruc happily received Lila's hand.

Lila saw Gruc starring at the moon. So she went out too. She thinks if the monster heart is pure then it won't harm her.

"Ah, what a perfectly gorgeous moon. Its a marvelous night for a little magic. Don't you think? Grrrrrr." Gruc says to Lila.

"Uh? There's not much magic happening around here." Lila answered.

"Well don't you want to fly or do you?" Gruc asked.

"Of course! More than anything in the world!" Lila exclaimed.

"Well then close your eyes Lila. Wish on a falling star. See what's happen." Said Gruc.

Lila closed her eyes and followed what Gruc said.

"I wish on a falling star that I can fly." Lila wish with all her heart.

"Open your eyes Lila." Said Gruc.

Lila open her eyes. She is flying. She can clearly see the stars and the moon.

"I'm flying! I'm flying!" Lila exclaimed.

"I told you my little friend. Its a marvelous night for a little magic." Said Gruc.

Lila was thankful to Gruc. From that night on whenever Lila wanted to fly, she just close her eyes and remembered how once she wish on a magical star and her dream came true.
