How long are you
going to live
your life for other people?
Answering calls for them.
Emails piling your inbox
with nothing but bitching and moaning.
Making coffee runs for six other people.
Curling your hair instead of leaving it straight
because people told you that you looked better that way.
Pressing makeup brushes to your face
because somehow it became out of the norm
to show up to work or events with your bare face.
Because, how dare you for showing your true colors.
How long are you going to live
your life for other people?
Stop conforming to the norm.
