I woke up with red and puffy eyes. I took a shower to relieve the stress. Today I decided to skip school. So I stayed in my all day sad and depressed. I didn't eat anything all day. Sadness took over my hunger.
Next day I somehow pulled myself to school. I went early so that I won't have to face Jeongin. And on my way I saw the last thing I would want to see. Jeongin was there with ...........a girl? I hid behind a tree and watched them. I couldn't see what they were talking about but....... Hey wait. That girl gave Jeongin that teddy bear? It means all this time he was giving me that teddy bear because he didn't wanted that? And me being a stupid thought that ...... He loved me. ....
I came out of tree to head back home but I paused after hearing Jeongin calling me. I turned around to see a smiling Jeongin coming my way.
Jeongin: hey I'm sorry Hana. I totally forgot you birthday yesterday. I brought this teddy for you as your birthday gift. Here......
I was raging with anger. Tears welling up in my eyes. He could see that. And I could see that he was worried.
Jeongin: I'm really so-
Before he could say anything I slapped him hard on the cheeks. And threw that teddy bear on the middle of the road.
Hana: HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT HOW DO I FEEL?!! YOUR BEHAVIOR AND YOUR ACT ARE KILLING ME!!! JUST TELL ME THAT YOU DON'T LOVE ME!!!.................and those teddy bear.......the one you gave me since we dated.....oh sorry! since you started faking to love me!.....those were all given by some other girl and you didn't have to keep at your home so,.......you gave it to me. You'll know how it feels to get hurt only if you love someone!!!......But it seems like you can never love anyone!!!! Not me not that girl or anyone!!! You are so heartless!!! I HATE YOU SO MUCH JEONGIN!!!!
I was crying my heart out. My knees gave up. I landed on the ground......tear streaming down my cheeks like waterfall. And I felt was useless and betrayed. From my peripheral vision I could see Jeongin walking towards the road where I threw the teddy bear. I straightened my head to look at him. He was holding the teddy bear in his hand......tears flowing from his cheeks as well looking straight at me with those painful eyes which I wasn't able to read. We were staring at each other eyes as if there was a string which still connected us.....as if like there was a hope that we could still be together.
I was brought back to reality from my thought when I heard a loud honk of a truck. I turned my head to right and saw a big truck coming towards him. My eyes widened with fear.
Hana: JEONGIN!!!! MOVE!!!! MOVE!!!
