The run and go

I walked into my house and saw Carmon, a woman in a formal outfit, and another girl about 13. "Oh hi Charlotte, this is Linda, a Foster child that will be staying with us for awhile." The Social worker,Patricia, told me. Linda was skinny. She had natural red, lower back length hair and blue eyes. She had freckles across her face and she looked like she had been crying. "Take her up to your room, I had bunk beds put in while you where at school." Carmon told me while putting her hand on Linda's smol shoulder. "Come on, Linda, it's ok, we can go talk in our room." I said. She nodded and stood up to walk towards me. I took her to our room and she sat down on the red bean bag I had in the corner. I sat in the black bean bag next to her. "How old are you?" She asked me. "Ok, she speaks." I thought. "13." I said. "You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but, what happened to you?" I asked. "My neighbors called the police on my parents because they saw me being hit with a belt through the kitchen window." she told me. "I'm so sorry, do you need anything?" I asked. "Can you bandage up ice packs to my back?" She asked. "Of course, Linda, be right back."I said as I stood up. " Can you use male pronouns and call me Leo please." He said. "Sure, Leo, let me know if you need anything else, please." He nodded his head as I walked out of the door. I stopped, I needed to ask if he wanted me to let Carmon know about him. I walked back in the room, " hey Leo, would you like me to tell Carmon that you're preferred pronouns are male?" I asked. " yes please..." he said. I gave a 👌🏻sign and walked towards the kitchen. "Hi Carmon, can I have a whole bunch of icepacks, paper towels and ace bandages for Leo please?" I asked. "Who's Leo?" She asked me. " Linda told me to tell you that he prefers male pronouns and to be called Leo." I told her. "Oh, ok. Here's the stuff." She handed me the things I asked for. I walked down the hall and walked into the room. "I'm back, Leo. Can you sit on the bed please?" I said. "Sure." He said and walked over and sat on the lower bunk. "Ok, can you lift up your shirt for me?" He nodded and did so. He had purplish yellowish marks on his back everywhere. " do you want me to put paper towels down first or just the ice packs?" I asked. " just the ice packs" he told me. I put 4 icepacks on his back and had him hold up 2 of them. I wrapped the ace bandage around his abdomen to hold the icepacks in place. I used a safety pin to keep it in place. " you can put your shirt down now." I told him. "Thank you." He said and put his shirt down. We heard Carmon tell us that it was dinner and we went out. "Hey, Leo do you want your hair cut to a short length?I'm a hair dresser so I can do it."Carmon said. "Yes please!Can you make it like this kid?"Leo
asked. He showed us a pic on his phone of a cool as fuck lookin' kid.

" I can do that easy! Do you want it done today?" Carmon asked. "Yesssssss!" Leo said as he jumped up and down. "Already then, follow me," Carmon lead Leo away to the master bathroom where she had a hair stylist set up in the walk in closet. I continued to eat my food while watching TV. Leo came out about an hour later with short hair like the kid in the picture. " it looks great!" I said. " I forgot to tell you Charlotte, Leo is starting school tomorrow with you!" Carmon told me. "Cool, it's like, 9:30, do you want to go to bed, Leo?" I asked him. "Ok..." he said and we both said goodnight to Carmon as we went to our bedroom. " I'm going to change in the walk in closet, you can change out here, k?" I said. He nodded and I went into my walk in. I put on a Tee shirt and gym shorts then knocked on my closet door. " can I come out now?" I asked. " yes you may" he said. He was sitting on the bottom bunk and I climbed up the side to get to the top bunk. " is your school excepting of the LGBTQ community?" He asked me. " yup, it's a very small school so it's easy to get around. You have my same classes so you just follow me around." I said. "Ok, is there anyone you know of in the LGBTQ community?" Leo asked. "Welllll, myself, my girlfriend, my best friend, and I'm suspicious of a few people." I told him. "Oh what are you?" He asked me. " I'm biromantic and my best friend is bisexual along with my girlfriend." " cool... what time do we have to wake up tomorrow?" He asked. "6:00 am"I told him. " eww.. that's too early!" He said. I laughed. " it's not that bad." I said. " goodnight Charlotte. Thank you." He said " good night Leo" I said and passed out about 10 minutes later.
