[ 10th grade, Sophomore year ]
It was a very intense year for me, stress-packed and filled with weekly projects. I was handling it very well then. Everyday is the same, I wake up, go to school, hang out with my friends after, go home, do my projects right before the deadline and sleep. It's always the same boring routine. I have never enjoyed anything in life before-- or so I thought.
I met my first true love this year, she had an addictive gaze that I fall for everytime she stares at me. Her lips were cherried and her hair was silky smooth, almost like a princess out of her castle. My friends invited me over for a party back then to celebrate the start of the hectic year. We met over a couple of drinks and well, had fun. We were sitting on the leather couch back in the room, everyone was just having fun and partying around like what people in the clubs do, except that we were underaged to be drinking and lighting smokes.
"The name's Kaitlyn" She whispered into my ear as she inched closer towards me. Every time she got closer, my heart beats a little faster. I wrapped my arms around her waist as we started getting a little intimate. We were alone at the back of the room, no one was looking at us. This was the perfect opportunity to confess my feelings. I had a well-thought line in my mind. "Kait--lyn" I called out her name with a stagger. "This is the first time someone made me feel so special" I added. She turned her body towards me, her lips were irresistible... And there it was, she had stolen my first kiss.
[ We were drinking when, we had our first kiss. You couldn't stop laughing, because you'd stolen it. ]
Kaitlyn and I became a couple shortly after, it felt like I had the perfect love life, with a girl I really loved. It wasn't just any ordinary crush, I had strong affection towards her. She was pretty too, like she could become a model easily with her stunning beauty. She doesn't even have the need for cosmetic products. She was caring, kind, loyal and accepted my feelings and dislikes about her. She changed for me, that was the kind of person she was.
