Pain For Strength

Izuku POV

At a young age, I learned that sometimes you must receive great pain to get great power. I was only 4 years old when my quirk started fixing my body to handle its strength. My Mom and Dad owned a big company for that made training gear, robotic research, etc. My dad died though when his office was infiltrated by terrorist and he leveled the building to make sure none of his research was exposed to villains. My mom was devastated but pulled through it and kept the company up and running. We also have maids due to me fining homeless woman on the streets and helping them get a home. I know it sounds weird but trusts me all I did was walk past some ally once while walking back home and found a lady that didn't have a home so I told her that she could work for us. This happened many more times and we eventually got an entire team of maids. I really like them all due to them all being nice to me. We let them sleep at our house due to it being a freaking 5 story house surrounded by water. Anyways, we are nowhere today at the quirk doctor seeing if I would gain a quirk. "Mrs. Midoryia, I must tell you and your son something important about his quirk. Izuku's quirk seems that it will cause him great pain. His heart will begin to feel extremely hot to the point it is molten, then that feeling should past through his entire body. The only way I know this is because of one of my associates that are able to see the activation of quirks." I looked at the doctor confused before leaving. I arrived at my house and told my mom that I was going to the park with my female friend Katsuki Bakugo AKA Kacchan. "Hey Kacchan, I went to the doctor today and he said something my body being hot or something." "Maybe you'll have a fire quirk." We played for a while until my mom came, I started feeling some aching in my heart but didn't say anything. After a week I told my mom that my heart felt like it was on fire. We went to the hospital and the doctors said that my heart was generating some type of metal liquid that was heating to a molten level. "Izuku, you will be in great pain once the liquid starts forming around and inside your bones. Do you want us to put you to sleep until it is finished?" I asked them if I can think about it until the night and they said 'sure'.

"Kacchan what do you think I should do?" I asked my female friend. "I think you should suck it up and be a man Deku." I looked at her and nodded. Once it was the night I told the doctors that I would stay awake.

"AAAHHH!!" I screamed after I felt the heat of the metal coursing through my body and bones. I even felt it change my eyes. After a week it all stopped, I had put bandages around my eyes to help make the heat go away. I took off the bandages and looked at the side of my bed. I walked up to the mirror and saw that I had grown a good few inches while I gained a bit of muscle. I was happy so I told my mom if we could go visit Kacchan. I was walking to there house and felt my mom rub my hand "Hm, Izuku, why does your hand feel like rubber?" I looked at her and shrugged. I saw their house and decided to run up to there house. When I was running, I group of kids were throwing the trash bins around and one flew straight at me. I was able to somehow calculate the time until it would hit me and once it was close enough, I punched it as hard as I can and it was sent flying with a hole going straight through it. The kids saw this and ran away afraid of me. I looked at my hand and turned around and saw that my mom also saw that and looked fairly impressed. We got there and knocked on the door and waited until they opened. "OLD HAG, SOMEONE"S AT THE DOOR!" I heard Kacchan yell. "WHAT DID YOU CALL ME YOU LITTLE SHIT?" I heard Kacchan say 'nothing' to her mom and they opened the door. "Oh, hello Inko. I see that Izuku is feeling better and has finished that whole process of gaining a quirk right." My mom nodded "Well, we should go get some ice cream to celebrate. But we'll have to go to the bank first."

Area Change to bank Izuku POV

"So Izuku, your super strong now and have weird rubber skin." "Yeah and now I can run faster than usual." we kept talking about quirks and went inside the bank. "Inko, can you watch Katsuki while I go get some money?" my mom nodded while Kacchan and I went to the benches and watched some videos on my mom's phone.
